I'm joining this thread, have to say Dave is my favourite Muppeteer, and just such a totally brilliant guy. I have never seen a Gonzo appearance, TV show, movie or anything that i haven't laughed at, and its always such a great moment when you see Dave himself in interviews and Gonzo...

I don't like the likeness, but yeah the clothes are great, lol. I don't think i've ever seen a Gonzo "puppet/plush" likeness thats ever come close to the real thing. I thought there were handpuppets back in the 70's, i cant remember. Maybe check the collectibles section.

I just really wish they would have done podcasts (video podcasts even) when they had the Muppets, all those long missed background Muppets that could have made appearances. *sigh* Anyhooo keep up the fantastic work!

I'd never seen that, pretty good likenesss for an unofficial product. I've known another one come up from time to time, a really large soft toy type plush from Russia i think. The head was ok but the body way too fat.

Wud u like to explain why they've just had Piggy on a promotional tour of the UK (their biggest market i believe) and she got booked on about six top shows over two weeks to promote the DVD's, and made the headlines in the biggest newspaper. I think they know Piggy merchandise doesnt sell...

I doubt they're legal, but they seem to have done a good job of the production quality. Some other classic shows on there too.
