WELL!
I will always be HIS dog!!
:)
No, I think Henson (Muppets Inc) SHOULD have all rights to any footage of me
After all, they're all in black and white....right??
Henson's 'Rubber Duckie" on 45 RPM Single
OH!
The flip-side of "Rubber Duckie" - WAS a different song altogether??
Do you have this 45 single in front of you there?
FAVOR: can you SCAN to picture the 45 record label in jpeg - both sides??
-JDD
Pic
NO, but that's ALSO a very good picture!
It was just the THREE of them standing together, facing to their right,
holding up the puppets, without any sort of background imposed...
I'll find it eventually, but a 'FOUNTAIN of thanks' for these MuppetDanny!!
:)
FIRST Seseme Street VINYL LP
It WAS on the red Columbia label and now out of print...
..same for the Columbia 45 RPM single "Rubber Duckie" by Henson in 1970.
That single was in crusty MONO, while the LP version was in crystal clear stereo!
BTW, what was the: 'B'/flip side of that...
Thanks!
Good posts - I was wondering!!
May the great OZ's shoulder not give out anytime soon, eh?
:)
It's interesting when you watch the 1983 movie "Trading Places"
where Frank played a jail guard going thru Ackroyd's pockets -
- that his arms look waaaaay long as he pulls out...
Yes -
That's true...
I was just wondering if this EVEN DID get sore for Jim's arm at times....
Has he ever mentioned that in an article or press story somewhere?
Thx!
:)
Forgive me, but did they (Columbia) ever put that classic FIRST
Seseme Street Record (in it's full entirety) - onto audio CD?
I heard somewhere previously that Columbia Records doesn't even HAVE
the master in their vaults anymore...
Granted there are mentions thruout the album that it...
ummmmm, now that I think about it....you're right Bear...
:)
Granted Jim's ARM (or arms) would be sore after a hard-day's work!
Seems like he was BORN for it - a true genius!
:)
Let's Hear It for FOZZIE!
Here, Here!
:)
Like you said Frogster, Fozzie IS - 'a best friend'....
I'll betcha... that if you were to ask Frank himself as to
which of his favorite Muppets IS - - Fozzie's it!
:)
Muppetites!
Sorry I've been away from here for a while,
what with being REALLY busy over the holiday season and all...
I really love the Muppets - ever since they began and now even moreso...
I could dribble on this topic, but I needed to ask about this:
Do you believe - that in...
That's probably because (they) wanted to 'tie-in' the LEAP - with the frog...
:)
I say May 9th, 1955....
Oh, I 'have' been saying this here -!! oh well...
:)
Swedish Chef
I honestly believe NO ONE could have voiced that chef better than Jim!
:)
Can you picture OZ or SPINNEY doing this character?...(chortle!)
Incidently, Carol Spinney didn't perform (if did) on The Muppet Show, yes?
Agreed
The Jerry Lewis/Dean Martin flick "The Stooge" comes to mind here;
There are scenes where this team gets heckled by the theatre balcony...
:)
What I've always noticed is that OZ voices Fozzie like a 'hyperactive BERT'...
..and voices 'Yoda' like a disgruntled 'GROVER'...
Looks Great
Thank you much MuppetDanny!
..there were many pics I had lost - and many I never had!!
:)
There was 'one more' (maybe it's still posted on this website somewhere),
where you see THREE of them together (Nelson?, Oz and Henson)....
I believe it's Nelson, but dang it -...
Oh, you're absolutely right here BEAR.. thanks! Yoda is OZ all the way, yes?
I'm really an old-fashioned Muppetite -when that happens to Oz,
I HOPE the press doesn't list 'Yoda' FIRST in the credos, ya know...
Same for Oscar and Big-Bird - if Spinney ever 'spins out of this world'...
Let's SAY May 9th!
I'm here to suggest for an 'official' majority ruling FROM THIS SITE,
that 'May 9th, 1955' IS the one and only B.D. for 'Henson's' Kermit....
However (like 'some' that DO believe this) - Kermit actually lived for 35 years,
and passed away (w/Henson's SOUL) - on May...
ONLY pictures of Henson and Oz performing
Good thread - but it's mixed and most of those links are outdated...
What we're primarily looking for - are shots of Jim and Frank
'performing' with the puppets together - particularly being seen
'below the puppet belt' - as to HOW they use the...
Looking for Henson/Oz - 'Jpeg-Gif-or Bitmap' PICS
Happy Muppet Year!
:)
Unfortunately, my computer crashed recently and I lost all my files
of some heartwarming Jim and Frank pictures - specifically, ones where you
see BOTH of them performing 'below' the character belts!
If any of you...
