In all honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if it was temporary. I'd think Universal wanted some recording specific to what they needed and so Sesame needed to get someone to voice Elmo fast, hence casting Peter. But if Peter is in fact the new Elmo, yay for him because he certainly deserves that...

That's most definitely Peter Linz. I guess we'll have to see if this is official, another main character couldn't hurt for Peter and Elmo would most certainly be in very good hands. But again, this is a wait and see situation.

Yeah, I'll reiterate what Duke said. Sure, things aren't completely perfect but we are on our way there. Think of those final years Henson owned the Muppets: What did we get? A severely misguided direct-to-video movie and a tampered-with-to-death made-for-TV movie and Pizza Hut commercials...

I haven't picked it up yet, but it's looking like since I just printed out a $7 off coupon for it I'll be buying the 3D Blu-ray of Wreck-It Ralph on release day after all. I'm sure I'll pick up something esle there too since I'm such a Blu-ray-grubbing guy. I'll let you know on Tuesday. :crazy:

Yeah, my apologies. That part wasn't really a direct response to you, I just felt it necessary to post my opinions on Brave since I've brought up my resentment about it winning without really expressing any opinion on it in the thread.
