Y'know, for me personally, I've never thought of Pixar's first 11 films as invalid after Cars 2 and Brave. I still love those films despite what's come out in the last two years. But again, that's just how the internet is. And that's the first I'm hearing of an Alpha and Omega fan base.... and...
Time for this thread to steer way off topic.
I think the big thing here is the brand name recognition factor. Pixar has had 13 films that had major marketing campaigns that emphasized that they were Pixar films, had tons of box office and critical success and when they make two lesser films...
I should point out that even though I've never been to Disney's California Adventure, I do know that this ride is right next to Muppet*Vision 3D there.
That would be great. A venue like that for fans and the performers to celebrate Jane's life together, especially since Jane was the founder of the Jim Henson Legacy after all, would be good.

Considering Dave Goelz has been performing Matt 100% of the time since the puppet has been rebuilt and how much he loved doing the characters, I think Dave at least is on board.
Keep watching The Hub, they are showing a promo for the marathon with Red and Gobo. This has to be the first time we're hearing the new Gobo performer and... eh, I dunno. It's definitely not Matt Vogel though.

That was my problem with Brave. If any other studio had done it, I'd consider it a triumph but with Pixar you come in with different expectations, expectations Brave didn't deliver on. I have nothing against them doing something different, but at least make it a quality product.
From my own perspective, the reason I'm giving this one scorn is because, for me, Cars 2 was too much of a mixed bag to consider it good and Brave was a overly-predictable and generic film for Pixar's standards that, while isn't a stinker, comes very close to being so. I'm sorry but Monsters...
