I get the impression the Doozers wouldn't really be interested in the Trashheap's kind of advice anyway. They're the types that want straight answers. They'd give up on the Trashheap's riddles pretty quickly. But then again, maybe the Trashheap would be aware of this and plan accordingly.
It is hard. Sometimes it feels like it's a lot easier to believe the negative thoughts over the positive ones. Doesn't make them any more true though. ;)
I feel like I've done sort of the same thing. I guess there's so much more pressure associated with hanging around with people who care. It's hard for me to dwell on positive thoughts about myself for too long. Meanwhile, talking with people you know are going to be rude, say online, can become...
I'm in massive physical pain all the time, doctors are clueless, and my family has to start screaming at me for daring to be in a bad mood. Pretty much guaranteed I'm not going to bed tonight, so if anyone's still around, so am I, heh.
Well you and I have always disagreed on this somewhat. Yes, there has always been junk on TV. And I agree with you that networks don't typical air old shows like that. But I do think things have gotten worse in recent years. And no, not just because I'm an entitled millennial. ;)
Anyways, you...
And if the companies never release them, no one gets to see them. I sympathize with the artists, I really do, but the pirates aren't the root of the problem.
I can't say I will ever understand how some of these shows become popular. And there's no "it's for kids" excuse. All kids aren't alike. I can't see myself liking most of this stuff even as a child. Of course, that's a whole big discussion, lol.
Yeah, a lot of people don't understand that corporations are within their rights to censor things. Sometimes it sucks, but I do think it's more important that we keep our government in check.
At the same time, it's sad to me that the shooting of 9 people has been reduced to an argument about a...
Thing is, this kind of blocking isn't protecting the artist. Just some overpaid Disney execs who may have no intention of ever legallly releasing Muppet Babies. Nowadays, it just feels like the only purpose of copyright is to take things away from audiences.
Take it off and then hide it from the public forever it would seem. Copyright isn't protecting artists anymore. It's just a way for cheap executives to save money and throw their weight around.
Lol, wow, I hadn't seen that before. Well you know why it doesn't work? When the Chipmunks sing Beat It (or pretty much anything!), it's so obviously cute and silly, it's endearing. But this Q*Bert character seeing it just sounds like some America's Got Talent teenager whose voice hasn't changed...
The thing is, in the past Television was able to be edgy, but also retain a bit of class. I do think in recent years, the class part is often forgotten by writers and execs who don't know any better.
To be fair, in many fans' opinions, they have in the past. Not by cursing or anything, it was more subtle than that. Of course, this has already been discussed in depth over and over, lol.
Depends on the execution. Janice saying, "the whole joint's gone to ****" is ironically amusing because of her sing songy delivery. But if they just stick in swear words just to shock people with no other thought behind it, I agree with you that it would be awkward and tacky.
And let me just...
