It's unfortunate to hear this once again, but like Chris Savino Lasseter at least feels genuinely remorseful about all this. He's obviously going the Kevin Clash route by resigning to avoid embarrassing himself and further damage his career.
Justice League had the lowest domestic opening of the DC Extended Universe films, barely cracking the $100 million mark. However, the international take is much better, though still not as high as previous films.

While the live-action film has been canned, a Netflix series is going to be coming out in less than a week called Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters. One of the creators behind the criminally short-lived Spectacular Spider-Man is behind it, so going with Netflix seems like the right...
It also rewards those who have watched the show from the beginning (or for a long time) whenever they reference events and jokes from past episodes, or foreshadow stuff in future episodes. :)
I'd rather they not be allowed to buy them, even if it also means a better chance of releasing a proper restoration of the non-special editions of the Star Wars trilogy. Shouldn't there be some antitrust laws stopping them somehow?
It essentially did everything right that the later Loonatics did oh so wrong: an action-comedy with Looney Tunes characters that feels natural, rather than generic. Two of my favorite episodes have to be the crossover with The Green Lantern and the parody of Samurai Jack.
Drtooth mentioned a couple of times that John Lasseter tried his best to pull the plug on it, and Disney released under Touchstone as a contractual obligation.
