Say what you will about Michael Jackson, but this is an AWESOME tune. MJ's raw energetic talent + his brothers + an outstanding groove = off the charts!

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

Posting another classic '80s song by one of the best Muppets Tonight guest stars ever: Prince! Plus I hear that he was a really good musician or something like that... ;) :smirk: :D (^sarcasm alert, Prince is truly a god in my estimation)

I used to watch that show on Cartoon Network! Definitely not like the classic Looney Tunes shorts, but it was a valiant effort nonetheless.

The “What did you do today?” thread

I got a new Palisades Muppet action figure on my doorstep today. A few days ago, I bought the Rizzo the Rat variant figure off of eBay...and boy is he awesome! I spent quite a while posing him and putting him next to the other figures. He fits right in with Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Animal...

    Little things we've noticed

In "Barnyard Boogie," the Electric Mayhem aren't dressed in their hippie clothing. They've got more formal outfits, and I think this is the only time they all did this together. However, Floyd and Zoot kept these clothes for The Great Muppet Caper and The Muppets Take Manhattan. Also, in the...

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

A great Queen song called "Radio Gaga." I especially like the scene in which the "Favourite Years" book opens up, showing classic clips from their music videos (2:40). Like a Queen retrospective from 1974-1984...

    The "You know what?" thread

To be honest, I'm not really a big fan of "Valley Girl," despite its success. I much prefer the stuff from the 1970s...speaking of which, I've just discovered the Flo and Eddie band that Zappa assembled. The "Just Another Band from LA" album is incredible. "Hot Rats" is great too...I...

What are your Muppet guilty pleasures?

I have binge-watched classic Swedish Chef, Muppet News Flash, Vet's Hospital, and Dr. Teeth segments on multiple occasions. Also, that video with Beaker singing Ode to Joy is a major guilty pleasure for me.

    The "You know what?" thread

Zappa is a legend. To me, a lot of people don't seem to take him seriously because they've only heard the bizarre or obscene music. But if they listen to one of his guitar solos like "Watermelon in Easter Hay" or "Black Napkins," or something more commercially appealing like "Cosmic Debris" or...

    When you need to rant...

Yeah, I once saw a video of Elton John chewing out security guards for making people sit down at a concert. Another time, Billy Joel directly called out a concertgoer who was causing a hubbub: "Excuse me sir, don't tell those people to sit down if they want to stand up. If you want to stand...

The “What did you do today?” thread

Green Day has some really great stuff. Just listened to the American Idiot album last week for the first time in ages...I forgot how amazing it is! Also, I learned the chords for the song "A Horse with No Name." Literally just E minor and D9-add6 (or something like that). The music geeks here...

The “What did you do today?” thread

I started teaching myself how to play the guitar a few days ago. Today, I managed to play through Green Day's "Good Riddance," more commonly known as "The Time of Your Life." Four chords: G, C, D, and E minor. Not too bad so far.

    Confessing Crushes...

Getting back to more celebrity crushes: today was the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (now Meghan, Duchess of Sussex). Gotta say...Meghan is quite good-looking. The same can be said of her friends Priyanka Chopra and Abigail Spencer, both of whom attended the wedding.
