    Put Down the Duckie celebrities

Oh I see what you mean, that each cut to him during the verse would count as an appearance. Interesting, though, they couldn't get Eugene Levy to join him as Stan Shmenge; perhaps his schedule wasn't compatable with taping.

    Gonzo's Wardrobe

The white shirt and gray sweater vest gets my vote, that just seemed the most "him" of his outfits. :concern:

    Put Down the Duckie celebrities

It is rather surprising John Candy gets only the opening line of the montage given that he was at his zenith at the time. Perhaps he personally asked for only a brief bit so as not to upstage others (which would be consistant with his later choice to turn down a stake in the profits for Home...

    favorite character winter outfit

This may be a bit out there, but given that it's the right time of the year, might as well ask, which of our heroes do you think has the best winter outfit as seen on cold-weather episodes? I'd have to go with Red's; those "hairmuffs" are particularly amusing. :excited:

    Sesame crushes

Did anyone in any facet of the show qualify as your first crush, or whatever would qualify for a crush at the age you were watching (it wouldn't have to be a main cast member, anyone in any live action segment qualifies)? Two that did catch my fancy were: -the next to last of the 5 dancers...

why did the chicken cross the road?

I remember it as well, although my memory was of a rooster asking a hen rather than a human doing so.

Abby Cadabby Balloon in Macy's Thanksgiving parade

In the 20 years or so I've watched the parade, Elmo has never had a balloon, just Kevin Clash helping him perform on the float with the rest of the cast. I hope this doesn't lead to the end of Big Bird's long flight down Broadway, though.

Season 3 DVD - What should be on it?

I'm thinking perhaps interviews with Sam Pottle and the musical staff on how they determined which songs went into which episodes and so on. I'd also take a wager that a third season set would feature Fozzie on the box, going by the progression we've had to date. :o

    Fraggle Parents?

I can't help wondering if something awful might have happened to Boober's parents. If so, it would certainly explain the root of his depression.

    Five Dancers Segment

I think my favorite was the next to last to go, the one who got the hook. She can probably be safely called my first crush, or whatever it would translate as when you're 3.

Sesame Street DVD for injured veterans

At any rate, more relative to the topic on hand (and look at it this way, bin Laden does NOT believe in finding the Rainbow Connection or the magic of the Rock or any similar principles, so that's one strike against him he'll never get rid of :attitude: ), perhaps either Bob or Susan would have...

What was your first Fraggle Rock episode?

It would be hard to say, since I was 1 when it began, but the earlier episode I always remembered clearly was The Terrible Tunnel, so maybe it was that.

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock Season 3

I for one am especially glad they put several HBO promos on this one; I've been really hoping they would include those at one point or another. Maybe for the next one they could throw in a couple of the network's "Coming Up Next" bumpers for the show over the years for good measure.

Sesame Street Unpaved TV Land Special

I was fortuitous enough to see the special when TV Land aired it. Since I'd already read the book, I largely knew what was coming, but they still made it enjoyable enough.

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

NEWS FLASH: Don't Eat the Pictures is now up on the Tube for everyone to see, so prepare to rejoin those wonderful memories one more time! ("We will ride upon our horses, where adventure can be found, save a dragon from a princess...or the other way around?")

    Making shadow animals with hands

I master the dog and bird from these; others are a come as come level of prefection.

Something that bugs me about Dinosaurs...

I remember it, that was the one where he tried to complain about the use of Smoo and other bad language on TV, but since everybody had a complaint as well, EVERYTHING got censored, which was rather amusing ("Every woman named Sue will from this moment on be called, "Millie.")

    "Follow That Bird"

Still, you've got to admit, the runaway lawnmower running gag at the Dodos is a riot. One of my biggest laughs when I watched it all those times was watching them casually approaching the pool, then running away screaming as it roared into frame. Oscar really stole the picture, as often is...

Which SS christmas special do you prefer?

Definitely Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. It remains the one available bridge to the past. All the performances are great, and you get one of the ultimate Hensonian takes on the holidays in general.
