    Preston the Rabbit

Does anyone know how to spell out phonetically the word they say that's spelled abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz? I want to sing along, but I can't.

TV Alert: Stuffed and Unstrung on The Celebrity Apprentice Sunday April 15

Brian with a beard was reminding me more of Jim than ever before...very cool. I don't think Trump will be running for President this time. It's late in the game for that.

    "Little Shop of Horrors" thread

I love this 1980's Frank Oz film, and the play I saw (which this version of the film is based on) and also the original Roger Corman version of the film from the 1960's (not a musical), and the early 1990's cartoon show (which had elements of both the Roger and Frank versions). All have their...

Your Thoughts: "Being Elmo" Kevin Clash documentary on DVD and PBS

I love the movie. Mr. Clash is super! I agree about the audition footage for Captain Kangaroo; there were a few moments where Kevin sounded very much like Jim! Very nice to see and hear Richard Hunt's Elmo, as well! So much more to talk about regarding the movie, but these are my thoughts for now!

    Country Bears

Too bad this film (based on a Disney ride) bombed. I heard that if it did well, they'd make a movie based on their Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Oh Well. Yorick, Aug 8, 2002 :) (Even though I wasn't even a member then).

Why does everyone overreact to bad swings in entertainment?

I like the Q*Bert cartoon and it's 50's meets the 80's feel! :) I like the Pac Man cartoon too - I know it has some very silly moments, but that's all part of the charm!

Why does everyone overreact to bad swings in entertainment?

Music on the radio (regular radio) these days is so bland. Any music from the start of recording until the mid 1990's had more going for it...in my opinion. Hey, at least I didn't say "everything" :) But a bigger crop of crap vs good than in the past? For me, absolutely.

Why does everyone overreact to bad swings in entertainment?

The worst popular song from the past is better than the best popular song of now, I feel. I do understand your point - and it's a great point to make - "don't let nostalgia make more of lesser entertainment from the past, or make less of good entertainment of today!" But my take on this is...

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

Singing Jim's favorite songs at his memorial service: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSE1Mtnnm4Y There are many reasons this is a tear-jerker. They did such an amazing job. If anyone hasn't seen it all the way through, I highly suggest you do. And by that, I mean this clip. Personally, I still...

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

My love for them may have been the same all these years...like a rock...but I know what you mean in the sense that when you watch something from them you've loved since you were a kid, you pick up on things you didn't understand the first time. Sometimes it can feel that much more powerful than...

Signs the World IS Coming to an End in 2012

I agree that Homestar Runner could be a great show. I like the stuff they do (or did/will hopefully do again) on the site. Whether it would change in a less than great way if it made it's way to TV, who knows. And yes, Catscratch was great! That stinks it was taken off the air. I feel the same...
