    RIP: Sherman Hemsley

This is very sad news, and I appreciate your kind words for Sherman very much. Someone made a comment that sums up my feelings: "Thank you, Sherman, for the laughter you gave to so many of us for so long. Your gift will always be remembered and cherished. We will miss you." -Peter and Paul R...

I know only three things about Critters: 1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gremlins#Legacy (though they say Critters began development before Gremlins) 2. Siskel and Evert gave it "both thumbs up!"! 3. This compilation of the Critters in action with the best known Joy Division song:

What would you change your screen name to?

Today, I'd be "Little Jerry Rocks"! That said, Yorick is still great!

Have you ever felt completely hopeless??

PanthraDion, do you feel you have the knowledge you need to take the test? If so, then go for it! If not, do you have the option to wait and study more? If you do, then do that! If you don't have that option, then I guess ya gotta take the test now, and I wish you the best of luck! And even if...

    RIP Robin Gibb

RIP Robin:cry: ...thank you for all the great music! (I am amazed how the Bee Gees seem to be remembered best for their great Disco work, even though they had great work before then, too! I would think they'd be equally celebrated. But either way, Robin and his brothers shall be remembered!)

    Alien Fans

I only saw the first one, and being a Harry Dean Stanton fan, that was a must...he plays Brett. HDS totally rocks! As for the rest of the film, I must say the Alien sure was scary lookin'! I recall the film was well done!

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

I'm with you there! Welcome back! And I believe you will always remember now. It was just a phase. :) That was beautifully said. As for hoping Jim forgives you; knowing Jim the way we do (not personally, sadly, but with quotes, audio, video, and the message of his work), you can count on it.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

But you know Piggy won't wake up and stop driving Kermit crazy :) I think the most touching moment of these two was Muppet Family Christmas when Kermit was worried about Piggy.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Hey, at least you've "returned" to the Muppets, and it seems you're making up for lost time :) It's strange that the public ever forgot that The Muppets are for adults, but kids can watch too, rather than the other way around.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Assuming you like the second 3 films, it's a shame you missed MCC, MTI and MFS on the big screen! I love all 3 of those (and the first 3 too, of course)!

    Dinosaurs Finale

I guess Spike was likeable since he wasn't all bad, and has potential to change...and as for what style he was going for, I think he's some kind of Heavy Metal fan, but I could be wrong. He and Robbie do a song on the Big Songs CD you mentioned, (which doesn't have any Dtv songs, but those are...

    Dinosaurs Finale

I agree with you too, it never lost it's greatness. The show is a masterpiece. I don't throw that word around much. But Fraggle Rock and Dinosaurs both were. So true, the philosophy and any wit at all is mostly missing:rolleyes:I agree with you 100%! Exactly. I'll have to look for that episode...

    Dinosaurs Finale

Yes, I have a spoiler alert coming up about Richfield right now. He was only nice on the series twice: Once he ate the happy plant, and once when Earl was daydreaming. Yes, especially if you know from interviews that Sherman Hemsley is one of the nicest people there is. And even though he could...

    Dinosaurs Finale

To this, and your entire first 2 paragraphs of this post - right on. I agree Captain Planet was preachy, but at least they tried to do good. As for Dinosaurs, it was the saddest TV show ending I've ever experienced, and I know that will never change. For me, no other ending even comes close in...

    Dinosaurs Finale

I actually came to the conclusion (just in the last 6 months or so) that Fraggle Rock (a masterpiece in it's own right!) seems to be an influence on Dinosaurs, since both had environmental messages in them at times. Now I know that could just be coincidence, since Dinosaurs had a different tone...

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Wow, 70 times (plus if you saw it in the cinema) that's something. Has there ever been another film you've watched as often in the past, or is there something about this film (or perhaps just that it's a new Muppets film what was in the cinema, which was a long time coming) that makes you want...
