Just got back from a screening. My summation is this: if you're a die-hard Muppet nerd, you probably won't learn anything new. But all the footage they have alone is worth it.

They were starting to get targeted by the Spanish brach of SW, it seemed; they blocked a few videos. All the others are unlisted, though, so you can still find them through the various playlists I have up.

I don't recall that, but there's all hundreds of clips on my channel and I don't really pay attention to the copyright stuff on 'em.

That's false. -------------------- I also don't really care for what they did; frame rate is lessened, the coloring is weird sometimes, for some reason the episodes are slightly lower thus are a minute longer than all other sources, and whatever noise-canceling they did the audio makes it sound...

That's probably true. It's certainly more acceptable now, if there's still bigotry out there (see the foreign censorship of Steve Universe). I wonder if maybe they are also more comfortable accepting the ambiguous stance because E&B aren't really around as much as they used to be.

I think the promos might have been a little misleading about this being a nostalgia trip, I wouldn't disagree. The actual written statements about it though made it clear what this was about. I liked it. If you want something telling you about the creation of the show, there's plenty of books...

The chef one did air on the show, just once or twice in season 16. I've never heard of the mother/daughter one you're referring to. Is there footage online?

Episodes are not shot in the order they air. And no, Elmo was not redubbed.

I think you're looking for a pattern where there is none. I think the priority is more on adding actual new episodes than older ones, which require a lot more legal clearing and determining inappropriate content.

I don't think that's necessary right now.

I mean, it's a novel virus. The information about it will change the longer we get to study it.
