    Fan Fiction: Muppet Beach Party

This is awesome! I think it's a terrific idea making a fanfic based on a Muppet album. I never heard the album before, but I like where this is going so far. :)

    Muppet Film and TV References

On Jeopardy last night, there was a category about vampires and a clue said something about "Sesame Street's own vampire" or something like that. Of course, it's The Count von Count and Alex said that The Count was his favorite! Who knew?

    Favorite Ernie & Bert Moments

I have lots of moments with Ernie and Bert that I could think of off the bat: - "Here fishy, fishy, fishy!" -Ernie and Bert explore a pyramid in Egypt and the statue that looks like Ernie scares Ernie at first, then scares Bert in the end. -"I don't want to live on the moon" -Ernie returns from...

How's the weather where you are?

Really hot! It's getting close to 100 degrees and it's getting about 100 degrees in Washington D.C.! I hate it when it gets this hot!

Who would you rather have as a pet?

I would definitely have Sprocket as a pet. I think he understands humans better than the others because he acts like them a lot. I would like having Rowlf around, too. His jokes would brighten my day any day.

    Muppet Musicals

I know a lot of the songs the Muppets sing are from musicals or were parodied from musicals, so I want everyone to pick a broadway musical, past or present, and make a cast list of the characters consisting of Muppets and they can be from any and all Muppet projects. I'll start first. West...

    Muppet Film and TV References

I don't know if anybody's mentioned this yet, but in the film version of "Dragnet" with Tom Hanks and Dan Akroyd, as they chase after someone in their car, they run into a bunch of stuffed animals that the bad guy knocked over and Dan's character says, "Look out, Muppets!"

Jimmy Dean dead at age 81

I loved watching the old clips of "The Jimmy Dean Show" with Rowlf. He looked like he really enjoyed working with Jim and Rowlf on the set. At times, he couldn't hold in his laughter! That itself was fun to watch. At least he'll see Jim again along with others that passed on before he did...

Your Thoughts: Frank Oz on Today

It's nice to see Frank in the flesh again after all these years and I think it's nice that they preserved something that Jim, Frank, Jerry Juhl and Don Sahlin made years ago is very nice. More creations like that should be preserved in the way the pipes were. Anything made by Jim or anybody else...

New Henson GSN show: Late Night Liars

I loved the show! It's definitely fun to watch and I liked the fact that the contestants get to interact with the characters. I wonder who plays that weasel? It sounds a lot like Eric Jacobson to me. Anyway, the weasel was funny as were the others and the fact they added celebrity trivia in the...

Should Sesame Street continue after season 40?

I think Sesame Street should continue for as long as they can go on even after 40 years or maybe 50 years. I have to admit it, they need to bring the classic clips back on the show like they did around season 30 to about season 35 or 36, I miss those. The street stories need to be longer in my...

    The Wimp Monologues...

I'd love to see a chapter about Ernie, after all, Bert's was already done. Also, maybe Big Bird or Scooter or Gonzo and of course, the rest of the fraggles, Gobo, Red and Mokey. Maybe one for the trash heap would be good, too.

    R.I.P Gary Coleman

I read about that today. It's sad that he's gone, but he will be missed. I've only seen bits of Different Strokes and he was cute in that! RIP Gary

Sesame Muppets on "Who Wants to be a Millionare"

This afternoon, I saw Elmo on "Millionare" as part of a category called "Celebrity Q" when a celebrity asks a question to the contestant. Elmo asked about what animal Dorothy was. Of course, she's a goldfish! Anybody else see this?

Twenty years since we lost Jim Henson

I made a tribute video of Jim Henson and finalized it about a month ago, but how do I sign into YouTube and how do I upload it from Windows Movie Maker? Better yet, how can I make sure that everyone saw in on here?

would a Jim Henson version of In Search of Dr. Seuss work?

I've been thinking about something like that happening in exactly the style of "In search of Dr. Suess". I'd be very interesting if someone wanted to know a lot about Jim Henson about his work and his creations. It'll all start with Sam and Friends, then the commercials in the 60s, Rowlf in the...

Singer, actress Lena Horne dies at 92

That's sad. Once again, a legend and a friend of everyone who worked with the muppets has passed on. I'll miss her voice and her personality. I never knew she was black either until several years ago. RIP Lena. We'll miss you.

    I'm the One that Won

This was a really cool story of the rivalry or should I say "Semi-rivalry" between Red and Skeeter. I wonder who would perform Skeeter as an adult? I always thought that Fran Brill would be an excellent choice for her voice as an adult.
