This isn’t grieving. But it’s still amazing how members like yourself are trivializing how others feel about this. It’s actualy kind of disturbing. It’s indicative of a greater problem with the Muppets being owned by Disney. That a character as iconic as Kermit can be ripped from the performer...

I’m not forgetting any of that stuff. I just don’t think we’ll see any of it.

Regarding the Disney+ service... The only Muppet things I expect to see on it are the 6 Disney owned theatrical films and the new Muppet Babies. That’s it.

How would steps 2 and 3 do anything to “restore the muppets to their former glory”?

Almost nothing about this show worked. It was practically DOA. Crazy it’s been three years since it premiered.

Disney is VERY predictable. They don’t want to put older shows on DVD anymore. They’re over it. If the last two seasons of this series ever get some sort of release from Disney, it’s going to be on their streaming site. Forget the DVDs.

Movies need to at least double their budget to break even. Muppets Most Wanted couldn’t double it’s 50 million budget even with worldwide box office factored in. That’s terrible for a franchise film. The fact that it only made 1.2 million domestically over it’s budget is just really sad. Muppet...

You know what I’d like to see? A show that doesn’t suck.

Muppets Most Wanted was a box office failure and the 2015 series was a ratings disaster. Both featured Whitmire. Are you saying that if Disney wants the Muppets to succeed they’d have to bring him back? I’m not following the logic, m’gee. He’s gone. He ain’t comin’ back.

Give it 3-5 more years and all that Muppet stuff will be gone completely.
