I have it on DVD. I just got a copy of the special with the intro last week from MuppetDanny. It's a wonderful special and a terrific example of Jim's love for family entertainment.
I must say that I am very impressed with how the show has worked. The best part about it is that it gives today's generation a new look at all of the wonderful characters created by Warner Bros. Using Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck as the main characters of the show works perfectly. And the magazine...
If you look close enough, you can see Little Bird sitting with the SNL Muppets. He's just right about Big Bird. There's also Bobbity, Traveling Matt, and Robin sitting with Sweetums. The Do-Do's are also in the very back right through the doorway.
This is probably the most detailed shot by far of the famous mural by Counter Watt. Originally seen at the now defunct Henson Townhouse, it currently resides at the Henson offices in L.A. (the old Charlie Chaplin studios). Here is the shot below. There are many characters on it that I have never...
I wish they included this on the complete series set. It would have been in better quality, but it's still fun to watch on Youtube. :smirk::excited::coy:
This one truly takes the cake for rare unseen works. Apparently Jim and Jerry Juhl were commissioned by RCA to help demonstrate the precursor to VCR's and DVD players called Select-a-Vision. Check out the entry and watch the video.
