Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
When do you suppose we can get a full run-down of the content? My guess is probably when the first review comes out, but we'll have to wait and see. We've got less than three months so we can manage the wait (hopefully).
What I would like to see are some songs that they used to cover from pop artists in 1969, like the Beatles and such. Of course, they would have to get the copyrights for that stuff.
Hi,
I am currently trying to find the following coloring books (unused) to add to my Henson collection. If anyone has any of the following or knows where I can find them, please email or PM me. Thank you all and God bless.
Muppet
-Fun and Games with the Muppets (1982)
-Kermit's Summer Fun...
I think it was someone named Winnie Wiggins. She is pictured in the 1978 book "The Sesame Street Cookbook". If anyone can upload a photo, that would be great.
Today's post was about the FAO Scwarz botuique that opened in 1984, long before the Whatnots invaded the scene. Here is a link with some cool pictures:

I never even knew if they shot something with that pilot or not. It's definitely well done. This is the kind of stuff that makes us appreciate the legacy Jim Henson has left for us. Let's hope they keep it coming.
I think it is. They should still have the three exhibits open as of right now still. The Jim Henson Legacy will probably start making announcements as the date gets closer. It's still March, so we have plenty of time to think about it. Right now, we should all be excited about the new Muppet...
Hi. Once again, I am currently trying to find more programs to add to my Henson video library. I have plenty great stuff to offer in return. To give you and idea of what I am looking for, here is my list:
-The Art of the Muppets (video tour with narration by Kermit)
-UNIMA USA 1980...
I'd have to say Horatio the Elephant. He just seems too random of a character and doesn't seem to fit in well with the rest of the Muppets. I think it's the eyes.
