So did anyone catch Pepe's appearance on Wheel of Fortune last night? I was surprised to see that myself. Here it is:
If you don't want to see the whole show, you could always skip to the end.
Poor Chris. Now he has to make another one.
Good catch. I didn't even think of that. Maybe he was quizzing the Muppets or something, encouraging them to do it on their own. Like I always say, just a thought though.
While it seems to me that Casey always did seem to have a 'difficult to work with' type of personality. After all, he was the one who insisted that Shaggy become a vegetarian for him to continue voicing him. Makes me wonder if they're were similar situations on "Sesame Street," that got CTW so...
I agree. I definitely liked seeing that. They really could have expanded on that one. Hopefully we'll see more of those two together in future eps.
Hey, did BB always have those pads at the bottom of his feet? I don't think he did. Kind of a distraction sort of like the pads that Hobbes had on...
Yeah, it did seem like Muppets doing stuff rather than an actual plot, kind of like a "Countryside Bears" type of deal. Long story there.
So I may be without HBO Max for a while longer. My girlfriend's been having vision problems and may not be able to help me get streaming services on my TV...
Well, better than doing the "Big Bird Across America/the World" which is a good thing in most cases it's just that Big Bird and Nina appeared in street scenes during this time as well. As the bulldog from "Cheese Chasers" (1951) said, "It just don't add up!"
So I got a new TV so hopefully I'll...
Nearly two decades later:
I have a disability as well, a high functioning form of Autism known as Asperger's. Sometimes it's good to have that because it means I have a high level of intelligence, but I have faced a lot of ridicule and discrimination over time because of it. I won't bore you...
Okay, thanks, Phil.
I see it now. The two moms.
John Stamos: Did you ever see that show, "My Three Dads?"
Dave Coulier: Yeah, it's called "Full House," you dipsh**!!
1. Okay, I'll look for that when that ep comes to PBS, unless I can find it online sooner.
2. Oh, right. I don't watch "Amazing Adventures" much, so I haven't been too familiar with Maggie.
Anyway, thanks for that info.
Wait a minute. Two gay couples? I caught one, Nina's brother and her family. Oh, wait. I just saw the street scenes. (It was available online when Yahoo! had an article about it.) I may have to wait until the show airs on PBS to see what I missed.
Okay, I know she's Charlie's mom and Granny...
Oh, so Jim thought of the premise before he died? Okay that's interesting trivia about the show, something I didn't know before.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Since TMS was on Disney+, I've been watching it with my girlfriend when I see her and it is hard to get used to Miss Piggy alternating...
Yeah, I think the reason MT couldn't compare with the original Muppet Show is because of the lack of classic characters like Scooter and Rowlf since that was still relatively soon after Jim and Richard passed and those characters were retired, at least at the time. Then that was before we had...
Yeah, they should do something special for the anniversary. Maybe bring back characters from the show like Clifford and Seymour and Bill the Bubble Guy. That would be a cool idea.
I know what you mean. It seems like they're doing the same thing as when Steve started as :), giving Gonzo more of the spotlight and limiting :) to background roles just until we get used to the new voice. Just my theory there. (MFS was one of the biggest examples there of that.)
