Life is full of sweet surpises
Everyday's a gift
The sun comes up and i can feel it lift my spirit
Fills me up with laughter, fills me up with song
I look into the eyes of love and know that i belong

Bless us all, who gather here
The loving family i hold dear
No place on earth, compares with home
And every path will bring me back from where i rome
Bless us all, that as we live
We always comfort and forgive
We have so much, that we can share
With those in need we see around us everywhere

Let us always love eachother
Lead us to the light
Let us hear the voice of reason, singing in the night
Let us run from anger and catch us when we fall
Teach us in our dreams and please, yes please
Bless us one and all

Bless us all with playful years
With noisy games and joyful tears
We reach for you and we stand tall
And in our prayers and dreams
We ask you bless us all

We reach for you and we stand tall
And in our prayers and dreams we ask you
Bless us all
I can't read this with out crying.

Poor, Gobo.
You have no idea how hard I was squeezing my stuffed Gobo. Since 4th grade he has traveled every camping trip, every church retreat and every moment I have been away from home he's always been there for me. He'll continue being there for me as I go off to college one of our last great adventures. The intelectual adventure into the unknown. I think he'd like that.

The thing that I keep thinking about Jerry's characters was that they didn't usually push into the spotlight, or shout about their characterization, but rather stayed as a support and just....existed.

I was thinking, Miss Piggy was a very passionate pig in love with a frog and she told you about it; Floyd Pepper was in love with Janice...and you just knew. Sam the Eagle commented constantly on sacred behavior; Uncle Deadly just behaved in a sacred manner. Bean Bunny announced his cuteness to the world; Robin was simply cute.

Leave Me Some Magic

Leave me some magic
To get me through the day
Wonders that cast a spell
I can't disobey
If it's all an illusion
I'm filled with confusion
So leave me some magic
Don't take the magic away

Leave me some magic
As much as you can spare
And if people laugh at me
I guess I don't care
To believe sets me free more
Isn't that what I'm here for
So leave me some magic
Don't take the magic away
Please don't the magic away

Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit.
There isn't any other stair quite like it.
I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top.
So this is the stair where I always stop.

Halfway up the stairs isn't up and isn't down.
It isn't in the nursery, it isn't in the town.
And all sorts of funny thoughts run round my head.
It isn't really anywhere, it's somewhere else instead.

Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit.
There isn't any other stair quite like it.
I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top.
So this is the stair where I always stop.

Does anyone know where I could send a real life, condolences card too? Like the ones all those children sent when Jim Henson died. And who it could be addressed to?

There's a saying old says that love is blind
Still we're often told "seek and ye shall find"
So I'm going to seek a certain girl/lad I've had in mind
Looking everywhere, haven't found her yet
She's the big affair I cannot forget
Only girl/man I ever think of will regret

I'd like to add her/him initials to my monogram
Tell me where's the shepherd for this lost lamb

There's a somebody I'm longing to see
I hope that she/he turns out to be
Someone to watch over me

I'm a little lamb who's lost in a wood
I know I could always be good
To one who'll watch over me

Although I/he may not be the man some girls think of
As handsome to my heart
She/he carries the key

Won't you tell her/him please to put on some speed
Follow my lead, oh how I need
Someone to watch over me
Someone to watch over me

Beauregard, that was exactly what I have been wondering today. I also wonder, are they making a memorial service for Jerry Nelson?

They should also make a Jerry Nelson Muppet smilie as a tribute to him.:fishy:

Remembering Jerry is like remembering an old friend. And i'll miss hearing him talk about stories of Jim and everyone else. I'll remember him most for Fraggle Rock. That's what i grew up watching other then Sesame Street and the Muppet Show. Floyd Pepper/Crazy Herry and Count Von Count/Herry Monster are the other two that will remain my favorite characters from The Muppet Show and Sesame Street. Rest In Peace Jerry Nelson. We'll Miss every bit of you. :smirk: :batty: :sing:  Herry Monster Smiley (Needs to be Made for Strong)
