I loved Garfield and Friends. Boomerang used to show it, but then they just stopped.
Remember, the Boom in the States is owned by Time Warner's Cartoon Network branch. Thus, once G&F stopped airing all-together on CN, they ended it on the Boom, too, because Garfield's not used by Cartoon Network (because the Hanna-Barbara collection of shows is technically now owned by CN).

I always found it interesting that in most of the comic collections they had few of the first Garfield cartoons. I think thats cool. I know I used to have one, it was a red cover, I dont remember what it was called, but it had the very first one in it. But actually, this is one of the few cases where I like the modern version of garfield over the original. Hes just alot cuter and more...I dunno, huggable lol :halo:

Yeah. if you men by the design of him he is Defiantly a lot less hideous looking.:crazy: But it's my opinion that the content in the older one was funnier.:smirk:

Well, he did look a lot like my real over weight tabby kitty Demeter *lol* :smile:
