What's the new impression?
I enjoyed the elevator tape because Kermit was acting himself finally!
That thing of him say hi ho is old...don't know what the gung gung gung gung things all about that he's doing but lordy he needs to chill on the sugar.
O nevermind I saw it now....thought he was being pong at first...would have been funny if he made a joke about his eyes...ping pong...
The Muppet screen saver idea would be cool. I would have that on my comp any day.

The elevator thing was great. I love these little moments they are having in the elevator. It's a funny bit that is relevant to today. I mean, who hasn't had some weird awkward elevator moment?

Oh man, the last two elevator bits have been too much...those really appeal to my cryptic sense of humor.

I think we're witnesses something very special, building blocks if you will, of the future.

This humor/chemistry theyre slowly building up with the muppets is really top notch now.

In fact, as soon as Spike Jonez is done filming Where the Wild Things Are(with Jim Henson doing the creatures) I say get him(or heck, Wes Andersen or Michel Gondry, or even Steven Soderbergh) to film that Brian Henson/Bill Baretta script. Have it a modern contemporary PG rated Muppet movie. Now who wouldn't love that?

I have been more than pleasantly surprised by these new Muppets.com shorts to say the least

But he wasn't doing his packman imitation in that one...just nto a fan of overly hyper kermit.
Oh the 2nd time was 'dinnertime in the swamp'.
I don't like him hyper ether, he was always the mellow level headed one most of the time:excited:

Exactly, watch any clip of Kermit on youtube, he's happy, mellow, sad, melancholy, angry, stressed, and hip.
Can't says I've ever seen him be the wacky crazy Muppet that need to go on decaf that we see before us.
The newest elevator tape is the first time in recent history that I can say I've seen him acting like his old self again.
Also before anyone gets on my case, no I'm not bashing Steve, he's doing a good job as his Kermit.
I guess I'll always just love Jim's Kermit more, it also bothers me I guess because I know people who are perfect at doing Kermit's character and would kill for that job. (and no I'm not talking about me)
It's most def. not the worst revision of a character I've ever seen for sure but I still say he's growing as a performer.

I don't really think Kermit is hyper. A bit out of character, yes, but I wouldn't call it hyper. I can't imagine Kermit being hyper.

As for Kermit's newest impersonation... Was anyone else reminded of Pong?
