Out of the omst beloved classic characters that sadly don't appear too much anymore, I always have save a soft spot for Herry Monster. From his gruff days as a somewhat threatening strong fellow, to his later years as a gentile giant, who was perhaps a bit too clumsy, this character has been one of my favorites.
I do feel the character had been taken for granted, and while extremely popular in the 70's, his popularity lagged a small bit in the 80's and 90's. Today, he only appears in classic clips. I do not know if it is due to the writers, or Jerry Nelson's semiretirement (He only appears as the Count and sometimes the Big Bad wolf nowadays)
So before Herry accidentally breaks this thread, let's share some memories...
