ok, so how many were released? wikipedia says one thing, but i think it was different in the uk, I have 7 episodes on VHS, so im frantically looking for a dvd burner to make a dvd before the tape dies!
Favourite character was pepe -
Id say rizzo, but hes not new- hes in the movies []
I could NOT stand Andy and Randy pig - urgh they annoy me
Didnt like the show in general, i dunno why they just had the actual muppets as "guests"- but on saying that, watched my vhs yesterday, and got a few giggles, so, maybe it gets better with age...

Let me first say that I think whoever decided which of these muppets got to stick around and become part of the full muppet gang and which ones sort of faded away after Muppets Tonight! did a fantastic job.. with the exception of their failure to keep Gary Cahuenga, they made all the right choices!

... and for the most part, those are my favorites: Johnny, Sal, Bobo, Pepe, Dr. Phil Van Neuter... as I said, I also loved Gary Cahuenga. Sure, he was a one-trick pony, but he was hilarious! .. I also liked Ma Fiama, Robot Abraham Lincoln, and the whole Lash Holstein: Space Cowdet bit.. it would've been great to see a few more of those!

Whats wrong with Andy & Randy Pig? I always thought that they were funny! Steve Whitmire and Dave Goelz were just having fun with those characters.

My favourite MT character is Bill the Bubble Guy, (is that pretty clear enough?)

Second favourites are Johnny and Sal

Bill The Bubble Guy was kinda like the Muppets Tonight version of Lew Zealand The Boomerang Fish thrower.
I hadn't thought of such a comparison before.
When other season sets come out and Muppets Tonight as well I must watch them making that comparison in my mind. It does sound very valid and cute.

I've only seen them in the movies, so I'm going for Pepe, Johnny and Sal right away. I've also grown to like Bean (Was he MT or JHH?) and Dr Phil Van.

I enjoy watching Clifford, but can imagine he'd grow rather grateing if I saw too much of him.

Bean joined the gang in 1986 as the star of The Tale of the Bunny Picnic, then was on both The Jim Henson Hour and Muppets Tonight! .. Clifford was also on The Jim Henson Hour

I love Clifford, he and Pepe are my two favorites. Followed closely by Johnny, Sal, and Bobo.
