Btw did anyone see these shots of the new Muppet Show comic book, complete with little go-fer moments:

I think the first one is very much in the classic Muppet humor. And I love how in the second one Scooter doesn't have any lines but his expression says it all, lol.
Poor Scooter. If looks could kill, Scooter would be down for the count in ten seconds. And I like Gonzo's line about the Rodent Doo-Wop All Stars: "Finally, some class on this show!"

Great present, Sara, see you never know!

I had to share this, I noticed a site somewhere was briefly discussing the Steve Martin episode of the Muppet Show, and a user made this comment:

Love the guy in the background's evil laugh XD moahahaha!"
LOL

Yeah, what was it they said about Richard's laugh, when they were recording live laughter from the Muppet performers? "Nobody could go up to that level!"

And you know, I just have this really funny mental image of the Muppet performers going into a sound booth one by one to record some laughter, and the sound guys are armed with a Laugh-O-Meter (probably a souped-up oscilloscope). And Richard's laugh causes the Laugh-O-Meter to explode.

I couldn't figure out how to respond until right now, while watching "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Kris Kringle learns from the animals to laugh "hard and wonderful, like he meant it!" I think that fits perfectly.

I also liked it when Kris goes down the chimeny and says, "Haha, that was fun! What a great job I have!" I imagine Richard thought that once or twice, lol.

Btw, ever notice how half these old claymation specials seem to take place in an oppressive quasi European towns, lol? Perhaps it was meant as a a jab at Communism, hehe (probably well deserved at the time ).

Maybe it is a jab at Communism, but since I've not really watched all the Rankin and Bass specials, I can't really say. The one special we really watch at this time of year is A Charlie Brown Christmas.

And that is really something to think about. In Of Muppets and Men, it's written that Richard got more unadulterated joy out of performing than did the others, so maybe that's where some of his laugh is coming from.

Well, I did not even realize that he was going to give me this. The awesome thing is, I didn't have to extend my contract for two years like normal. But this is quite a nice phone.

I just wish that I could actually get a box (or in my case, two boxes; as I have two different perscriptions) of contact lenses...they are $100.54!

Geez, that's expensive. Well, I've got to go, work calls.

That a good deal if you ask me. My glasses costs three times as much and some. It really costs just to see!

I know what you mean. Both of my parents are nearsighted, so my genes got a double dose of the lousy eyesight allele. Anything that's more than four feet away from me looks blurry if I don't have my glasses on. But I don't mind wearing glasses; I've been wearing them since I was eight, and I hardly notice them when I have them on.

And I remember that the clerk at the optometrist's gave me so much static for going with my plain wire "geek frames;" she kept urging me to go with something more stylish.

But the wire rims look worked for John Lennon...and judging from those photos we've seen, they didn't look too half bad on Richard Hunt, either.

Yeah, I just used plain wire frames although my mom can not stand those things and always wants me to get plastic ones. My dad is near sited and I think I've been wearing glasses sense about seventh grade, but don't quote me on that as it may have been the sixth grade instead. But both of my brothers have worn them sense Kindergarten.

Hey, I noticed that the RHLC group on facebook is gone. I wonder what happened?

Really? I just checked and it's still up there. Must have been a hiccup in the server or something.
