Yeah another great thing about this thread, we're allowed to go off topic (and often do!)
That is a perfect description, Erin, I love it. And I really love how all of these different traits of Richard's are brought out so perfectly in so many of his different characters as you described, too. It's really fun to watch a character of his and know a certain character's trait was Richard's trait as well. And it's true; even if the Muppet performers don't physically resemble their characters, it's not hard to see elements of their characters in them. Richard, as we know, is part wide-eyed, fresh-faced kid (Scooter), part smart-aleck (Gunge, Turbo, Statler...), part lovable goofball (Junior Gorg, Forgetful Jones) and part spotlight-seeking artiste. (Placido Flamingo, Don Music et al)
Yup cause you know, it doesn't seem right for a thread about Richard to always be on topic, hehe.Yeah, let's face it, the RHLC's probably created enough muffins to stock a bakery or a tea room. (not to mention the occasional pie fight...)
Another one is laidback cool guy like Janice (though in that case a gal )And it's true; even if the Muppet performers don't physically resemble their characters, it's not hard to see elements of their characters in them.
Yup, truly a boy and his puppet. And besides, we've seen a few photos of Richard wearing round Scooter-type glasses, so there you go.
Definitely pure Muppety perfection! Lynn Redgrave is really a joy to watch and very into it all. Poor Scooter trying to keep it all together (his reaction to Fozzie's bad joke is very Kermit!) I love how he says "Music by Scooter! That's right I played all 36 instruments!"For me, heralde, the best episode on disc 4 is the Robin Hood episode - and I love Scooter's running commentary as Alan-a-Dale. "In Sherwood Forest dark and deep dwelt Robin Hood, forsooth; an outlaw and his merry men...they were living fast and looth!"
For at least, Beaker is not the one to suffer.Love how Beaker giggles at Gilda's misfortne at the hands of Bunsen!
Yeah, He could just sit back and enjoy the show that time, heh-heh-heeeeeeh...For at least, Beaker is not the one to suffer.
