You know what it was? I knew about Jim Henson, the person. When I watched Kermit, I knew on some level there was a person behind the magic. I didn't know about Richard, so to me Scooter was purely a character (in a good way). So finding out this news, initially you think of the character being "gone." I think that's why it seemed so particularly sad.
That makes sense, heralde. In more ways than not, it's pretty sad when a performer dies and his or her work lives on. Everybody here has a story about when they found out Richard had died, and how much it had affected them, mainly because it generally happened right after we discovered how wonderful he was. In many ways it's like a perpetual memorial service.

Anyway so Jane mentioned that she had spoken previously about a story in which Richard was on the roof during that sunset and storm. I can't remember that story from the first one, does anybody remember it being on the tribute show? Maybe she spoke about it off the record.

I don't think that part was mentioned in the last show, it was probably done off the record. I don't blame him for wanting to do that, especially if it was one of the last times he knew he'd get to be there. And sometimes you do need to just stop and appreciate the amazing wonders around you in life.

Well said. And the same applies to amazing people, of which Richard himself makes that list.

Yeah really, it's like cutting away from the guys drinking at Cheers, lol. Either you're going to do it, or not. But to do it and then cut away is just kinda funny. :insatiable:
Yeah, it is kind of funny in it self that the cut away form him like that at the moment, heh!

Particularly for me, I'm not a big fan of experimenting. I just want to have the answer to a question right away and be done with it, much like Don lol.
I think I'm the opposite way.

I also like how the sketches show sometimes you need to rely on other people and let them help you.
I know that I have a lot of trouble with this myself as I can be very stubborn, heh!:embarrassed:

Hey guys, new show's up. I'll post the official thread later on, but I wanted to let the RHLC know first! New Jane Hunt interview (and, as Count said, a very touching moment with Sara). Great stuff, if I do say so myself. Enjoy!
Oh boy-oh boy-oh boy! Thank you so much for letting us know and I really can not wait to listen!:excited:

Indeed, for if one doesn't know if people within a group will carry their weight, then one often considers working solo.

Well, inconvenience is part of it. But I just feel like it's taking the easy way out somtimes and I don't want to cheat myself. I want o say I did the work. But it's just stupid foolish pride somtimes not to ask for help and to sit there and struggle with things for to long. Lives about balance, heh!:smirk:

Yep. Balance is what life rides on, for as a infamous theme song once said, "You take the good. You take the bad. You take them both and there you have. The Facts of Life!" ^_^
