Listening to the audience applaud at the end (and midway through as everyone comes up on stage)...it's the Muppets they came to see, with the human performers coming in at a close second.

That's right - Scooter's voice during that song was more or less Richard's normal voice. And Scooter's clearly risen to the role of leader - here, he's leading not just the gang from the Muppet Show, but also the gang from Fraggle Rock and Sesame Street. And it's so cool to see him and Gobo singing their verses to each other like that.

It's proof positive that the gofer's all grown up.

"Oh, no, I'm Scooter. Kermit's the green one." I think Scooter was a little amused by the acts of fowl play going on out there.

And is it just me, or was Jerry cursing a bit in his chicken voice as the bird fell into the pot? Richard, I know, was laughing in the background as usual.

It looked like they were doing a chunk of the Camelot scene from the Pearl Bailey episode when the camera cut off...I'd like to know if there are any other goof tapes floating around out there.

I get dibs on the new signature! Hehe

Yup, that was the Pearl Bailey/Camelot set. I seriously can't wait to see that one again, lol. And the Robin Hood episode (yet another example of Scooter channeling the frog. One scene with Scooter you can tell could easily been written for Kermit.)

Yay! I'm in the middle of watching Jim's memorial. I've only watched the first part so far, but pretty soon I'll be able to get the rest of it, too.

It really is incredibly beautiful. I had to giggle at them lifting Frank up during "Cottleston Pie," hehe, that was so adorable! And I had forgotten how sweet "Halfway Down the Stairs" is. I really love that song. Not to mention "Simon Smith..."

Very priceless, this is.

So far, I've tried a few times and unfortunately, YouTube doesn't want to start the outtakes for me. I'll keep tryin' though!

Oh, and GREAT signatures, ladies!

Edit: I'm back! Lol. And I just want to say... wow. That was really sweet and... special. And "Just One Person" was so beautiful and very touching. Just, wow.

It did surprise me that these things were posted on YouTube (naturally), but I feel lucky that we all have the chance to see this.

Yeah, 'cause they all said the event was never broadcast to the public; I wonder how people got a hold of the footage?

On a slightly different topic, this madcap little den of aficionados of all things Richard has just been voted the best Muppeteer fan club in the Muppet Central awards. And we have a certificate to prove it:
