Thanks... The second link started up a little scratchy though.
Good stuff to remember today.

Happy Valentine's or Friendship Day to all.

Thank you for those beautiful links heralde. I hope you're feeling much better now.

And Sara. Good luck with your new job.

And Erin. Was I the Marty who said this? I just don't remember.
What was it Marty said? "God help you if you walked into Sesame Street with any kind of superior attitude."

Hi... Just wanted to say "congrats" to my li'l cuz... Sara, wish you loads of success with the new job later today. Hopefully you found those treadsafe shoes and they'll help you make a stunning impression. Ok, so maybe not everybody will be looking at your shoes. But hey, at least you'll be stepping out in grand flair, with your sincere smile, and your dancing bear.
Sorry, that song's stuck in me right now. And nice to see your fluffy little tofu Scooter. LMK if you need any help or homey decor for it.

*Hugs.

No, Marty, it was another Marty: Marty Robinson. It was from an article on the "Your Face" site.

A bunch of grown men clucking like chickens...Kevin serenading Lydia...Scooter and Fozzie belting out "Simon Smith," and Kevin, Steve and Dave lifting Frank up as he hit the high notes on "Cottleston Pie." Jim would have loved it. Wouldn't be surprised if he was sitting in a chair by the stage all along.

I loved watching them all do "Just One Person." I mean, Scooter looked so soulful and sincere as he started them all off, and to see everyone else join in after him...and when Wembley said "Hi," Scooter waved to him, and then to Elmo. Very nice...

It's so weird, just the other day I was wondering if I would ever actually see this. Was someone...listening?...Hehe

You can almost look at it as the performers are demonstrating the result of Jim's work in all their lives. Like "These are the people we have become today, thanks in part to the opportunities and influence Jim gave to us." And when they sing "Just One Person" it's like they're passing on the message to everyone else.

It's so strange to hear Scooter's voice actually coming from a human being (btw, that's a nice "sincere" smile, Rich, lol). Same with Robin's voice coming from Jerry. I actually really enjoyed Elmo stepping out of his comfort zone, hehe. That's when he was really cute to me, a little guy trying to be a grown up.

Dave's rendition of "I'm Going to Go Back There Someday" was really something special. And Frank looks almost triumphant at the end of "Colleston Pie" lol. Wonder why he was the only one who got to sit. No wonder the guys wanted to give it to him, lol. Did you notice Steve's little nod before it happened? Lol

You can really see in "Just One Person" that Scooter is the appointed leader there, carrying the torch. I think that was the best puppeteering of Scooter ever. Richard's singing there wasn't quite Scooter's normal kiddie voice; more like his own. In a way, it's like Scooter's finally grown up.

That was so cool to seen them preforming without puppet, lol! And that was a really beautiful tribute to Jim too!
