Lol, odd how the dream stuff dried up for awhile and now it's coming back lately at full force! Does this have anything to do with that Twister-type "new RHLC topic" board Richard was said to be carrying?
You know, it's really funny that you mention that because a couple days ago, I had a dream about Richard, too! It's been like a year since I had one, lol. But this one was pretty short. I was going to a theater (the Muppet theater, maybe?) to see Richard perform live. And I was running late to it, but I was so determined to get there on time, lol! I was hurrying like nobody's business... and then of course, I made it on time and I got to see him! Happy ending, lol.

I'm glad you had fun at the wedding, Erin! Weddings are always such a great time! And another awesome Richard dream that you had! That's so cool... and such a sweet dream, too. I love that.

And heralde, that appearance on The Cher Show sounds so cool! Lol, I'm so glad you got a chance to catch that. And thank you so much for reporting back!

Absolutely, a DVD of all the Muppet appearances on variety shows like that would be SO great. I would love to have something like that! Hopefully someday they would be able to release something like that.... *crosses fingers* hehe

Oh I forgot, glad the wedding went well, MN!

Lol, that's a great dream, Skye. Funny how so often in dreams we create some kind of drama (like running late) instead of just being able to enjoy something. But still, at least you showed up on time!

I wonder what variety shows would be like if they were around more now. The pessemistic side of me says they'd probably get the less than impressive acts, lol.

Lol, that's really true, heralde. Like, it's much more realistic that we would experience a worry like running late... in dreams, we should just be able to enjoy what's happening, and not have to worry about anything! But, I'm glad I made it on time, too! That's actually also kinda more realistic... majorly worrying about something that turns out ok in the end after all, hehe.

You're probably right. I personally think that if variety shows were around nowadays, they probably wouldn't be as good as they used to be. The guests would be very different, the humor would be very different... everything would be, really. Times change so much. But that seems to be what entertainment is all about, lol!

Very true on both counts. And sometimes can serve to teach a lesson we weren't aware of.

Great signature, btw, I LOVE that song! Lol

I put up my new signature last night when I was in a particularly annoyed mood! Lol

Aw, thank you! I really love this song, too. I actually recently heard it for the first time, and as soon as I heard this line, I knew it had to become my new signature, lol!

Oh no! I'm sorry you were so annoyed last night. I hope you're feeling better today, though. But it is a very interesting signature!

Thanks for the concern. Oh I was just having a conversation with someone about women, and it was civil and everything, but it's amazing how people justify oppression by calling it a compliment, heh.

You've got a good point with your signature, heralde. As a society, we're inundated by images of unnaturally slender, coiffed and manicured "women," and the message is, "We're perfect, and if you don't look like us, the heck with you." And they often hint that a woman is supposed to do nothing but sit there and look pretty.

It's far better, and healthier, to put emphasis on what's in the head and in the heart. And this applies to both genders. Women shouldn't need rail-thin physiques, and men shouldn't need gigantic muscles, in order to be happy or successful.

Lol, odd how the dream stuff dried up for awhile and now it's coming back lately at full force! Does this have anything to do with that Twister-type "new RHLC topic" board Richard was said to be carrying?
Hmm, good point...

(up in heaven)

Richard: (slowly twirling arrow) All right, what am I going to make them talk about this time? (pause) Oh, this one looks interesting...
Jerry Juhl: Richard, for heaven's sake, haven't you tortured those poor fans of yours enough?

Yeah, I could go on and on about this topic, lol. But I won't. Let's just say I am disturbed about the attitude of the media and society lately. It used to be if you didn't like the way you looked, or if people teased you, you were told to be proud of yourself and ignore the teasers. Nowadays, if you're insecure or being teased, you're told to empower yourself by changing yourself! Show those bullies by proving they were right all along! I swear it's insane!

Lol, I love hearing about the Twister-type board!

Geez, it's so true. You know something that still disturbs me? About 5 or 6 years ago, I had this friend. And she and I were talking on the phone one day. And I mentioned to her one thing about my body that I didn't really like, and the first thing she said was "Get plastic surgery!" and she was totally serious. I couldn't believe that one... like plastic surgery is the answer to everything. Stuff like that really worries me, lol.

Oh, and btw Richard, we sure do love that Twister-type board! Keep 'em comin'!

Wow, you must have been surprised! Yeah I don't think people realize how drastic plastic surgery is and how much can go wrong (and how fake it often looks!). Personally I think it's a symptom of a much larger issue. We put choice ahead of everything. As long as we want to do it, we should be able to do it, whatever it may be. There's no emphasis on responsibility or consequences. Not to sounds boring here, lol, but being smart can sometimes extend your life.

I'm going to go be smart and drink some orange juice now instead of soda! Lol (though not too much since OJ has a lot of sugar. Actually regarding Richard that explains a lot! )
