Yeah I know, hehe, I was actually thinking that. But I figured they'd end up calling the DVD set itself Season 4, since "officially" there were only 4 Seasons. Odd how that turned out, lol.

There were a few choices for volunteer work, my second and third choices were soup kitchen and animal shelter (also worthy causes and I wouldn't mind getting those if the first is full). It does feel good to pitch in, even if it's sometimes difficult.

Yes Richard directed the second to last episode of Fraggle Rock, "The Honk of Honks." I've been able to see it and it's great, very emotional. He also directed a Muppet VHS called "Sing Along, Dance Along, Do Along."

A lot of people have called him the heart of the Muppets, because he was so enthusiastic and so eager to share the Muppets with other people (like showing off the Muppet Show workshop to guests that would come in). You felt like he enjoyed watching the characters as much as you did. Personally I always thought that was because the Muppets were the only people as crazy (in a good way) as he was.

Well, the soup kitchen and thrift shop are good choices - as for me, I worked for the local literacy council over the summer. At the moment I'm working on a project for the local children's hospice.

I really do want to see "The Honk of Honks." I want to know exactly how it's got Richard's touch on it - how he made the transition between puppeteer and director. And it'd be fun to have a look at some of the stuff he wrote as well...

The Muppet Show workshop tours - when Richard was in his element, to the delight of many children and perhaps the bemusement of a few adult chaperones. It'd have been fun to have been in the shop when Richard took a few kids through - but it must have been kind of weird to watch him rapidly shift from voice to voice.

Wow, it WOULD be a little strange with the voice shifting but awesome at the same time. *Imagines a "Meep!" then a "Harharhar!" (Sweetums) then a "Oh hi! I'm scooter!" ect.) especially without the muppet at hand.

Dude, try to imagine it.

It looks funny in my head.

Though that just says how talented he is, eh?

Wow, that's great that you have volunteered so much and continue to do so. I really want to start doing that more. I have worked at a few acting/Summer camps over the years and it was very rewarding. It wasn't all fun and games, heh, kids can be difficult to handle. But it's a wonderful feeling to know you've made an impact.

Well when I started watching "The Honk of Honks"...em...it sounds weird but I was almost preparing myself to be disapointed. Not because I thought it would be bad, I just didn't want to build it up in my head (as I would definitely do being a fan.) Yeah, I'm weird lol.

But anyway, I was definitely not disapointed! I don't want to give too much away (unless, you know, you want me to!), but the scene where Doc speaks to Shimmelfinny on the phone, and then meets Gobo...WOW. There was real emotion there. The kind of moment where you feel awkward sitting there because you know it's such a personal moment.

I was a little disapointed that Junior's only there for a few seconds. But then again he'd just had his big moment the episode before.

I know that in "The Honk of Honks," Gobo was initially invisible to Doc - wonder what happened to make Doc see him?

Like I said - really need to see that episode. I want to see how Richard did, both in front of and behind the camera. (and from the sounds of it, he did pretty well) And as I have said more than a few times - if Richard had lived a little longer, he might have been next in line to direct a new Muppet film - or perhaps a new Muppet show.
