You know you are an obsessed Muppet fan, if you sang Rubber Duckie in front of your church congregation...I did. It was a part of a small Puppet show I was putting on. So fun!
You know your an obsessed Muppet fan if you sing "After all it's only twelve more months til Christmas" as soon as it's January, then continue to do so every month counting down. haha, my brother and I are always singing that. Just changing the words to suit the month or day. hehe.
You can find a detail in a show, even if it's a tiny one that has to do with the Muppets. Like:
Dr. Teeth and Bubs both have a gravelly voice.
Zoot and Strong Sad both express their feelings in the ways of art.
The Cheat and Beaker are both little squeaky things.
You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if you get into a conversation about the Muppets and suddenly realize that your hand is "talking" for you as if you had a puppet on it. You're even more likely to be a Muppet fan if you purposely continue to have your hand "talk" for you, even after the conversation topic shifts away from the Muppets.
(Happened to me just today, while I was sitting and talking with my grandmother. She was quite amused. My mother just rolled her eyes. )
You consantly go on to Emule and look for vintage Muppet clips or music.
Know that your older sibling was born excatly ten days after Sesame Street.
Gone to the library and found the The first year of Sesame Street: an evaluation; a report to the Children's Television Workshop and read it from cover to cover.
