Mmm... Hope everybody's indoors and comfy cozy.
Count: It sure is raining... And thundering outside.
UD: The chill winds are blowing, and they'll chill you to the bone.
ME, singing: And there's nothin' in nature that freezes you like years of being alone.
Count: It paints you with indifference like a lady paints with rouge...
UD: How droll... *Sips at his cup of evergreen tea, the taste of peppermint spice mingled into its etherial essence.

(in room 7, it is just the human and two Muppets, as the Fraggles are off visiting friends at the moment)

Erin: (stretched out on sofa with a mug of Earl Grey) Well, it's not completely over for me yet...but the worst is past.
Scooter: (curled up in armchair with cocoa) I know - getting my bio project to school was kind of crazy...but the teacher liked it.
Nora: (seated with legs swung over arm of other armchair, having hot apple cider) And my French exam only asked a few questions on the subjunctive...someone pass the cookies, please. (Scooter hands over a plate of chocolate-peppermint cookies) Thanks.
Scooter: I guess, now that finals are almost done, we can start concentrating on Christmas.
Erin: I know...everyone's been doing something while we've been buried in the books...so what do you guys want to do first?
Nora: Maybe some decorating...and get an ornament for the dorm tree.
Scooter: Beige, I know, will want us to do some cookies or something.
Erin: True...and maybe have a few caroling sessions or something...(slurps up some tea and takes a couple of cookies) As for presents, well, that's for each of us to work on individually.

Singing can be heard coming from room 26

Ok. What do we want to sing next?

Murray: Sleigh Ride!

Grover: No no no no. Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer.

Bruce: The 12 days of Christmas.

Herry: No. I like that song "Crashing Through the Snow."

Crashing through the snow? What song is that?

Grover: I think what Herry means is "Dashing through the Snow."

Ohhhh that song. That's Jingle Bells.

Bruce: How about that one?

Sounds good to me. *starts up the old player piano*

Me: Dashing through the snow
The Monsters: Dashing through the snow
Me: In a one-horse open sleigh
The Monsters: In a one-horse ope sleigh

Murray: O'er the fields we go
Me, Grover, Bruce and Herry: O'er the fildes we go
Me and the Monsters: Laughing all the way (all laugh together)

Grover: Bells on bobtail ring
Me, Murray, Herry and Bruce: Bells on bobtail ring
Bruce: Making spirits bright
Me, Grover, Herry and Murray: Making spirits bright

Me and the Monsters: What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight
Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh
Hey, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh

Grover: (spoken)Kyle did you go for a ride the other day?
Me: (spoken) I sure did.
Murray: Tell us about it.

Me: A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon, Oscar the Grouch
was sitting by my side

Oscar: *pops up from nowhere* The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
He got into a drifted bank
and Kyle'll got up-sot

Me: (spoken) Up-sot? Don't you mean upset?
Oscar: (spoken) No. I like up-sot. It rythms and it's more rotten. Heh heh heh...

Me, The Monsters and Oscar: Ooooooh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh
Hey, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh

The Monsters: (whispers) Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh, Hey!

Me, The Monsters and Oscar: Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a
one-horse
O-pen!
Sleigh!

Grover: That was good.

Herry: You did great Grover. You too Murray.

Murray: Thanks Herry. So did you. You too Kyle.

You were great too Murray. Bruce i know you were the best.

Burce: *blushes* Oooooooh......

Oscar: What about me?

You needed to sing a little bit lower.

Herry: Yea. So low we couldn't hear you!

Everyone laughs

Oscar: Whatever. *walks out the door*
