Oh...these are rainbow whispering ...cookies They're like little chocolate cakes and each part has food coloring like colors of the rainbow. You want one each to sample for now?
Rosita taking one Sure!
Prairie takes one too Mmm!Delicious!
Rosita:Yes..they are!

Prairie puts Gaffer in her little carrier and off we go

Erin: (looking at watch) All right, everyone, let's get going.

(group gathers up platters of cheesecakes and biscotti, and bowl of punch, along with two sets of wind chimes for the back garden - the group gift for the festivities)

Cookie: (standing out in the hallway by Kathy's room) Hello, ladies. Looking mighty spiffy this ev-ening. (Spies the rainbow colored pastries) What you got there? (sniffs the plate) Oh, you would not want to get sticky crumbs all over nice party clothes. Hey hey! What you say me carry plate for you? No delivery charge necessary.

 

[BEAR]

(Ernie and Bert are already in there tuxedos getting ready for the celebration)
Ernie: Boy, this is gonna be a great party!
Bert: Yeah! I'm even wearing my green argyle socks that I've been saving for just this special occassion. (showing them off) What do you think, huh?
Ernie: (humoring him) Very nice, Bert. And I'm sure Kermit the Frog is really gonna like those!
Snuffy: Uh, Bird?
Big Bird: (Wearing a green tie) Yeah, Snuffy?
Snuffy: Who is this party for again?
Big Bird: Jim Henson!
Snuffy: Who's that?
Big Bird: Gee I don't remember, (giggles nervously) but I do remember that he is very special.
Bryan: Hey, guys!
Bert: Bryan, you're not dressed!
Ernie: Yeah, even Rubber Duckie's all ready to go. (holds up Rubber Duckie who is wearing a little bowtie)
Bryan: I know, I'm gonna be there a little later. I have to teach a class at the acting studio tonight. You guys go along and I'll catch up.
Big Bird: Okay, I'll try to save you some birdseed cookies.
Ernie: Speaking of cookies...where is our fuzzy blue friend?
Bryan: Oh, I saw him out in the hall trying to bum party food off of Kathy.
Snuffy: Oh, dear.

Ryan: *leans back in chair and sighs heavily*
Clifford: Homework gettin' to ya again?
Ryan: You have no idea...
Clifford: Heh heh, don't worry too much dude, you'll be okay.
Ryan: *smirk* I sure hope so, Cliff.
Clifford: Anything I can do to help?
Ryan: Nah, just taking notes on--
Clifford: *clamps hand over Ryan's mouth* Shh! Ya nutball!
Ryan: *pushes Clifford's hand off* What are you doing?
Clifford: You can't say that word in this room! You know that, man!
Ryan: What w-- Oh... I see. Oh, c'mon Cliff, Sam's out in the living room, and the door's closed, and we've got music on, there's no way he can hear us.
Clifford: Mmhm, well just in case, I'm leavin' before you say anything. *walks out of bedroom*
Ryan: *shakes head* To think, Clifford thought that just by saying American History I'd--
Sam: *bursts into room carrying a bunch of papers in his wings* Ryan! I heard that you were studying American History! I've brought my entire documentation of the complete history of these fine United States of America! *stands patriotically*
Ryan: *rolls eyes* Thanks Sam, but I'm just taking notes.
Sam: *throws papers on Ryan* Here! Use my notes!
Ryan: *climbs to the top of paper pile* Thanks Sam...
Sam: Yes yes, you just stay here studying while I and the others attend the celebration tonight.
Ryan: Celebration? What celebration?
Sam: I have no idea. But if it gets some culture into this uncultured establishment, I am more than fine with it.
Ryan: Sheesh...

Red: Come on guys, party!
Beth: I'm ready, let's go
Abby: You look really pretty Wanda
Wanda: Thanks! So do you
Mokey: What a lovely evening this is to spend time with friends celebrating another special friend
Red: Who cares about that, I'm ready to dance my heart out! Come on, let's go! *she runs ahead of the others who just laugh and shake their heads*

Jim: My...the town looks very nice tonight.

(behind him, Richard, Christine and Don are sneaking up with a large bucket of confetti - a stash left over from other fetes)

Richard: (sotto voce) All right. Three...two...one...(they all dump it on Jim)
Jim: Wha...What the hey?
Others: Surprise!
Jim: Oh...(laughs) Thanks for the birthday wishes, guys. Oh, and those clouds behind you are about to explode with pink goo.
(and the clouds do, covering the three jokers with the aforementioned goo - Jim has a good hearty laugh as they try to clean themselves off)
Christine: (tasting some of the goo) Hmm...raspberry.
Don: What...Jim, you knew we were coming all along, didn't you?
Jim: (Dr. Teeth voice) Oh, positively.
Joe: (flying over with piano music) When you're done goofing off, we're all going to fly down.
Jim: Sounds like a plan.

(the angels start to fly down in formation, in groups of two: Jim and Jerry, Richard and Christine, and Joe and Eren - Don flies separately, with a concealed bag of assorted practical jokes)

Jerry: We've got a bit of a cross breeze in the vicinity of the town! Stay close!
Richard: (shaking his right wing, which feels rather sticky) Christine, do I still have some of that stuff in my wings?
Christine: 'Fraid so. (leans over and rips a few gobs of it out)
Eren: Don, is that a Golden Dragon you're carrying?
Don: No, it isn't.
Joe: (to others) We'll have to frisk him on landing.

You all look so cute!

Bunsen:
You're wearing a dress...
am I on a different planet? Different timeline?
Beakie, I must have fallen on my head again...

*Gasps loudly*

It's just a white dress from Channel that stops to my knees...

we might as well get going! Such a shame that Ryan won't be going to this exciting event with Sam breathing down his neck. Such a patriotic eagle...

*Smiles good naturedly at those who keep asking, reminding me of the old joke from that oft-lost fanfic of the Ive Five... "What's a J. Henson?"

Tuxedo clothes grace the Count's person, in lue of his more traditional coat and cape, whereas Uncle Dedly has changed into silver tie and slightly faded black-grayish formal ware, allowing Ed the opportunity to ask his bunkmates for assistance in finishing off the cuffs and cumberbund and bowtie. Batty Bat alights upon the Count's shoulder, wrapped with a white bowtie of his own and miniature top hat, Fatatatita adorned by a regal violet-black ribbon rests in her own carrying case gripped by the phantomly dragon this instance affording Ed to steer himself with the aid of his trusty bat-topped cane, the occupants salley forth out to the town hall big enough to accomodate everyone for tonight's starting festivities.
