The other two bachelor brothers of Room #1 find their dates and decide to shmooze a little at the pre-party gathering... Uncle Deadly assures Auntie Eleanor that Mr. Henson would appreciate her presence, she had already met him being ghosts connected to the Netherworld themselves. Count takes Countess Dahling von Dahling's hand as they glide on past to their table.

(room 7 has just arrived at their table - all are in evening wear: Erin - dark blue silk dress; Nora: purple and silver satin dress; Storyteller: shocking pink organdy with green sash dress; Scooter: dark green suit, bright orange tie; Beige: dark gray suit, bright blue tie)

Nora: So did you have to cover a meeting tonight?
Erin: Unfortunately. One more hour of sitting in a chair that's less than ergonomic. (looks around) Tonight's shindig promises to be much more fun.
Scooter: I know - I think I just saw Jim and the others flying in.

(cackle overhead, and a small firework goes off in mid-air)

Beige: Well, I think Don Sahlin's here.
Storyteller: Come on, let's go grab something to drink.

Sweetums: *wearing a tux* Bean? Elmo? Are you ready to go over to the party? Alex said don't wait for her.
Bean: Gee, she sure is taking a while. *follows Sweetums out the door*
Elmo: Oh, Elmo is sooo excited about the party! Goodbye Dorothy! Elmo will be back later!
Dorothy: *wearing a party hat* Bubbles......

Alex: *walks out of the bathroom wearing a knee-length off-the-shoulder pink dress with hot pink tuelling peaking out at the bottom, her hair slightly curled, and wearing a silver necklace and matching dangling earrings* Where are my shoes? Oh! Here they are! *puts on a pair of black heels*

(a stereo somewhere starts to play 'Blessed,' by Elton John)

Storyteller: Oooh...Beige, get up and come dance with me.
Beige: B-but I've got two left feet.
Storyteller: (snort) Oh, come on, all Fraggles pick it up pretty soon. (the two head out to an open space in between the tables)
Scooter: Want to join them, Nora?
Nora: Sure. (the two join)
Erin: (sigh) Guess it's just me then.
Richard: (flying over) No dance partner, reporter lady?
Erin: Nope...but I thought you'd be taking a turn around the floor with Christine.
Richard: She's doing just that with her dad. Feel like taking a spin with a ghost?
Erin: Oh, why not? (heads out to open area with him, as other couples start to join - including Jim with Jane, and Jerry with Susan)

*runs in* Sorry guys. I'm....late? Where is everyone? *looks out in the hallway* I'm always late. I stay to late over at my sister's alot. *undresses and dresses into a tux and top hat* There we go. *looks in mirror* This....*pulling and tugging at tux*....suit makes me look like a monkey. *a monkey appears wearing a tux* Hmmmmm change that thought. I'm ready. *heads out into the hallway and meets up with Sweetums, Bean and Elmo* Hey guys. Glad to see ya'll. You all look spiffy. Where's Alex?

Sweetums: Oh, she was finishing getting ready. She said not to wait, but I think she was almost done. *looks back toward room 24*
Alex: *grabs a small black purse and walks into the hallway* Oh, guys! Wait up!
Bean: There she is!
Alex: Bean, you forgot your bouttonier. *pins a pink carnation to Beans jacket*

You look magnificent, Alex. Are you ready for the party? I know i am. The monsters are already there. I was over at my sister's and forgot all about this. I had mp3 full of his music but didn't know we had a party here.

Grover: *notcies Kyle* Hey Kyle. Glad you could make it.

Grover: Hey Alex babiee! You look gorgeous. *holds out arms*

*sees Murray* Hey Murray.

Murray: Kyle! *hugs me* I thought you might miss it.

Bruce: *dancing, waves*

Herry: Me and Murray thought we saw him.

Murray: He was with his grouch lady.

Awsome. I'm glad to see others here too. Well i'm going to go talk to Beth and the girls. Talk to ya'll later.

Nora: That was a lot of fun...but I'm getting thirsty again.
Scooter: Come on, let's hit the buffet.
(gang heads off to load up on cake, punch and other edibles)
Erin: (biting into a piece of cake) Mmm...if anyone leaves here hungry it's their own fault.
Storyteller: Try the finger sandwiches - they're excellent, hands down. (chuckles at her own joke)
Beige: (leaving buffet with stacked plate) I've heard rumors that Don's going to set off a bunch of sparklers before long.

(over by ghost contingent)

Richard: (waltzing with Christine) Did he just say Don's going to set off sparklers?
Joe: (tickling the ivories on the piano) I thought we got all the fireworks away from him!
Jerry: Maybe my magnetic wand's not working...
Jim: (chatting with Steve and Melissa) Now, now, this is Don we're talking about, after all.
Richard: Right...but I'm going to go grab something by way of dessert before he lets loose. (flies over to buffet table and picks up a few chocolate-glazed donuts; other ghosts start to follow suit)
