Bill: That was fun when we wished Kathy and Kim happy birthday respectively.

Marty: Yeah. And we're more or less settled back in here. I hope I'll be able to get some progress on my fan fiction soon.

Bill: I have confidence in you Marty. You'll soon manage.

Marty: Thanks Bill.

MN: (rushing into dorm room) Mail call!
Nora: Anything good?
MN: Really, really good. (pulls out a large envelope) It's from the AIDS Quilt people.
Nora: (gasp) Could this mean...
Storyteller: Open it, for the Trash Heap's sake!
(ripping and tearing of envelope)
MN: All right! Richard's panel is on the quilt!
Nora: Yes!
Storyteller: Oh, isn't this the most...I think I'll cry.
MN: Someone get her a tissue. (reading letter) It says it's been grouped, but probably not sewn yet, with seven others in block #5765.
Nora: How long should that take?
MN: Probably not too long.
Storyteller: (blowing nose) Maybe we can arrange to have it brought to town after it's ready to be displayed.
MN: This calls for a celebration. Break out the orange juice and the chocolate donuts.

Hey Erin... That's great news. But I don't think there are any choc doughnuts stored... The bakery Sarah Y runs switched to Mexican chocolates today. Cinco de Mayo, and of course, they're doing up all the foods with that Spanish or south of the border flair. Mmm, got me a churro earlier. Sure glad Kathy and Rosita are helping with the decorations. We'll probably have a good spread for dinner between the two of us. Mmm, I can just taste my mom's 5-Star Short Stack quesadilla dish already.

Nora: Good point. So we'll make it a double fete.
MN: I hear Sarah's got some really knockout empanadas stuffed with orange and pineapple, and drizzled with chocolate, and some churros with lime and lemon juice mixed into the dough...
Nora: Oh, stop that, you're making my mouth water...
MN: And to drink, maybe some hot chocolate with cinnamon and vanilla mixed in...
Nora: (groan, starts to drool)
Storyteller: Good grief, Nora, do that over the sink and not over the table! Especially since that's where the quilt letter is...
MN: All right, I'm off to Sarah's to pick up some comestibles in honor of the day. Back soon.

Rosita: How does this look,Kath?holding up a poster sized sign that says "Feliz Cinco De Mayo!!" in Mexico's colors. The sign includes a picture of sombreros, maraccas & a mantilla
Oh Rosita! That's beautiful! You draw very well.I'm trying to arrange these flowers.
Rosita:Looks fine to me. You trying to intertwine the stems?
Yeah...but a couple have broken.
Rosita:Well...take it easy on the stems.Oh...by the way. You're not planning to put a mantilla on Gaffer again, are you?
After last year's episode? Gaffer wouldn't go near me for nearly 5 days afterwards! So I'll keep the mantilla off of her.
Rosita:Good thinking!

Ryan: I'm not sure.
Gonzo: Huh?
Ryan: *shrug*
Rizzo: Sounds like a fun day.
Ryan: Yeah. I'll probably end up writing something and watching more Dinosaurs.
Gonzo: Uncle Deadly would probably like that.
Ryan: Which part, the fan-fic, or Dinosaurs?
Rizzo: Which do ya t'ink, ya big dumby.
Ryan: Joking, Riz. Joking.
Gonzo: He does that a lot.
Rizzo: Really? I didn't notice.

en honor a Cinco de Mayo

Sal: ¿Qué es ésto, Johnny?
Johnny: Una piñata, para el partido
Sal: ¡PARTIDO! ...

Anything Muppets start up a little mariachi band music

Me: Come join the fiesta
Hear that rumba beat
Come and grab a partner
Rap and stamp your feet

Time to count to ten si!
Count on having fun
Spanish Numba Rumba
It's the rumba number one

Grover, Herry, Maurice and FilFil: Uno, dos, tres, cuatro,
cinco, seis, siete, ocho,
nueve, diez!

Me: The Spanish Numba Rumba
The dance that really counts
Other are muwe bawen but
They don't teach you amount

Just a little practice
You'll learn the way it goes
Don't need lots of rhythm
Just your fingers or your toes

Hey Ted! Count the rhythm
on your fingers!

Green Anything Boy: *tries to count but can't remember* I forgot!

Then just dance!

Green Anything Boy: Ok. *dances*

Me,Grover, Herry, Maurice and FilFil: Uno, dos, tres, cuatro,

Yep... Everybody's getting into the spirit and the Spanish I've been hearing sounds OK. Now then... Black beans and refried beans.. Tortillas and tortilla chips... Mexican salsa and guacamole... Steak that Bryan helped cook a little while ago... And of course, we can't forget the hot sauce nor the jalapeños. And for dessert, mmm, some Mexican chocolate and Cielitos Lindos Flan.
OK at least this gives me something to do since I'm sorta in the same rut as Ryan... Why is it that I start making some new spooks with enthusiasm and then wreck it all down? Eh, well, time for talking with the guys later... Party time now!
So let's have ourselves a fiesta!
