Dear Bo:

Don't worry, it's been taken care of. This was for those broken lights, not rent. But never mind, feeling bad about the whole thing I had them fixed and improved. Now your doorlight turns on and off with a smart little button. Hope Bean doesn't play with it too much... The money's all there and I hope you can please forgive me.

*Goes upstairs to the second floor and leaves behind a wrapped parcel, folded within the brown-bat yellowed wrapping paper my roomie and I usually use. The box contains a package of chopped walnut brownies and a second layer of chocolate chip brownies I bought down at the bakery. There's a candle and a card attached to the box reading...
