Some of the things Little Jerry mentioned in that episode kind of threw me off myself (though I did lose it completely when he brought up Mr. Rogers šŸ˜‚) but I mean, adults can still be living with their parents. I didnā€™t move out until last year when I was 27. My personal guess is he could be in his early 20s (but really if Iā€™m being honest, I think a lot of those comments he made were just put in for tongue-in-cheek humor).
I don't think it was about him living with his parents, I'm thinking more that he seemed to be treated like a child over what his siblings did. I should probably watch that again to see what he actually said.

And I did ask that, knowing that Ernie and Bert live together without parents but often act like children.

ā€œAnd then after Iā€™m gone, well Iā€™ll probably head home where my little brother will do something naughty! And my momma will blame it on me! She probably wonā€™t let me watch Mr. Rogers on TV! Sheā€™ll probably take my guitar away for a week! But itā€™ll really be my little brotherā€™s fault and that will make me.... make me... that will make me MAD!!!!! Oh, that would make me so ANGRY! AAAAHHHHH!!!!!! OH-AH-AH-AHHH!!! That would make me MA-AA-AA-AA-AAAD!ā€

Thatā€™s what he said. I really think it just falls under the rule of ā€œmy house, my rulesā€ regardless of age.

So I recently acquired episode 3485 mainly because I was curious to see how ā€œNTVā€ played out in this one (I saw this particular one twice after coming home from kindergarten; I remembered it playing specifically after the boy with the lost alien cartoon), and..... itā€™s hard to tell if this is just a new music effect the workshop put over in this particular airing with the boom sound effect layed over or if this is an alternate cold fade ending of the song (Iā€™m going with the latter), but I have to be honest, I like this ending a lot more; it has a nice retro 80s closing sound to it, and this is why I remembered the ending having more of an epic closing sound than just a generic cold ending before I first saw it on YouTube back in April 2007:

I was surprised to hear Toby the Tram Engineā€™s bell (from Thomas and Friends) in this underrated cartoon:
