For the first time ever, I've FINALLY met a Sesame cast member that I've wanted to meet for the longest time; Alan Muroka!

We've talked about why certain characters such as Gabi and Miles aren't on Sesame Street anymore, my illustration career and etc. Awesome experience with him at Galaxy Con!

Also, just like with Grey Delisle Griffin Alan complemented me on my illustration skills of him and my main character from my tv pitch which is an added bonus!

Here's the video:

That’s really cool when they encourage you like that.
It will be nice to talk to people in person again. Zoom calls are horrendous. The echo and delay sometimes keeps you from hearing properly, but for now it’s the best we got.

And, I suppose an imposed time limit is another con as well; I remember because there wasn't much of a line behind me when I met certain folks like Bob McGrath and Noel MacNeal, there was no rush, so I was able to really have nice, lengthy conversations with them.

But, like you say, it's the best for now - it's a good way to meet everyone halfway; we can still meet people without having to risk sickness.

Another thing that sucks about Zoom calls. The more people you’re on with, the worse it sounds. Try talking with ten people at once it’s a s#|t show. The only way to hear one person is to mute everyone else.

I've only had one Zoom call once with a friend/colleague of mine last year, and it didn't work out - at all . . . I think the culprit was my outdated webcam, because apparently there was a terrible delay from my video that we had to nix the video aspect of the call, and just do voice instead. Doing it on Facebook on another occasion, though, we had no problems whatsoever.

Seeing some fan art I sent John R. Dilworth a while back hanging on the wall right next to his animation stand.

His most recent (at the moment) Instagram story showing his animation desk with the caption reading, "This is where the magic happens, baby!"

He shared it in one of his HOWL IF YOU LOVE ME WIP videos:
