Well, this makes me sad to read.... :frown:

Guess the first 16 episodes leaked back in 2014 really WERE from the vaults if 12 was skipped over..... bummer..... but, what can you do? :smirk:
Don't be sad. Read the Potential outlets section. The game is on.

I actually do wonder if possibly someone has Slimy’s first appearance. Which is weird that they don’t have because they seem to care about every character’s debut

Well, I guess that gives something new for the Lost Media Wiki people to start speculating over and make videos about.

I appreciate the food for thought, but the chances of those outlets having the episodes seems.... slim to me. But if it turns out they are discovered by them.... then hey, I like a good surprise!

If you read the opening paragraphs, you'll see that these things got lost for any number of reasons. "Not caring" is not one of them.

If an episode introduces a character who would later on have potential to evolve, I highly doubt they would have tossed away an episode like that.

One thing rather interesting to note is that the majority of these missing episodes were from the show's first three seasons, produced between 1969-1972, which would account for over 400 episodes, so that's about 7.1% of those over 400 episodes missing. Perhaps these were the unlucky ones to be victimized of being wiped, as was common at most television networks during that time. I think by the early '70s, that practice slowly started to die down (at least for scripted programming), as the cost of tape became less expensive. It's worth noting that The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson ended the practice of wiping their tapes by May 1, 1972. As for the three additional episodes from after those first three seasons, heck if I know.
