It's the same feeling I get when you're studying in the library, and nobody respects the library as a quiet place anymore. Soccer moms are yakking, kids are screaming and running amok. It used to be so quiet you could hear a pin drop, and if anyone made the slightest disturbance they'd be asked to leave. Now, you're on your own.
Good luck with finals.
Thank you! I have one more final tomorrow at 10 am, and I hope it goes well.

Speaking of libraries...

WHy does no one ever say how evil libraries are, yet people complain about the used game industry and how used game stores are evil? (I'm using evil sarcastically, but they might as well be saying that.)
Eh... there's a messy political thing about funding I don't want to go into...

But on that subject, how come any environmentally sound futuristic form of power is seen as evil because it's a war on coal or gas, and it's a terrible thing because switching to them is losing jobs- YET, when other technologies become obsolete and you lose even more jobs from Blockbusters, FYE's, and other stores that thrive on physical media, no one bats an eye. You never hear "The iPod and the Internet are job killers."

Have I ever mentioned one of things I hate the most about being sick is that, for some reason, my hearing is thrown off, and everything suddenly sounds off pitch and lower than usual? I don't know why it happens, but it drives me crazy.

If I got sick, then not only is something is wrong with me, I think things differently, and finding something or someone either scary or very annoying. Two years ago, when I was so sick, not only did I felt so terrible and icky, I thought everything was annoying including the Muppets. What was I thinking? Ugh! That one December was not that great for me.

So, instead of finding the Muppets, I found Fairly Oddparents annoying and disturbing.
iCarly (Okay, it is not my cup of tea.)

I absolutely regret for finding Muppets annoying and I am so sorry. I was starting to get to know the Muppets and Jim Henson nntil I got sick. Yuck!

Ah yes. That's mucous doing it's job by stuffing you up to make you feel worse in a lame attempt to get rid of the germs. So much is routed through the sinuses that when you're sick, it's EVERYWHERE. Stuffs up your lungs, nose, and ear canals. That's why if someone;'s remotely sick, I run like crazy the other way. I'm pretty much into germaphobe territory.

Regular 100w bulbs being illegal now. I'll put aside pointing out ridiculous it is making one of the most important inventions in the history of our entire existence against the law, and just concentrate the headaches caused by trying to find decent replacement bulbs.

As for as lumen replacement bulbs go, the highest watt available is 72, and accordingly, they're supposed to be equal to 100 incandescent watts, but that's not always the case... as a matter of fact, it's pretty rare to actually find 72w lumen bulbs that are just as bright, or possibly even brighter than 100w incandescent bulbs... just about the only place I can find such bulbs is Sam's Club (the southern equivilent to Costco), everywhere else you pick up 72w lumen bulbs, they're extremely dim and poor like a 60w incandescent bulb.

Now then, I know this is all part of some vast governmental socialist plan to make the world a greener and more energy efficient place to be, but come on, if incandescent bulbs are illegal now, then we might as well make records, video tapes, or even maps illegal too.

Somehow I get blamed for my wife talking to a guy, and the guy is trying to convince my wife to divorce me and go with this guy. She says I'm on the computer all the time and zone out of what's going on. Which is not true! I know what is going on and I talk to my wife all the time. I tell her that I love her, and do all the right things, so how is it my fault.
I blame the guy more then my wife, because she did tell him she was married. Yet he has been trying to convince my wife to divorce me and go to him. I am upset with her for the fact that after he has tried to convince her to leave me she thought that they could still be friends. Now I don't mind my wife having guy friends that will be friends with me, but I even tried to confront the guy, and then last night as I was sleeping her messaged her and asked her to come over to his house after midnight.
Now I will give her credit she has been telling me all this, but still to point the finger at me is just a bunch of BULL!

Snickers...

Oh MAAAAN! Who wants to bet the current president takes, like, the blame for all that? Wanna hear the worst thing? This was something Bush signed in as lipservice to environmentalists, and even they found it ridiculous. Just like that Digital TV nonsense.

Banning things outright doesn't work. What needs to be done is shaming things. High Fructose Corn Syrup isn't banned, but I see more and more companies dropping it from the ingredient list. We just need these companies to lose money on something to stop producing them.

Let us not forget too Bush also extended DST when it didn't need to be.

But as for digital TV, yeah, we jumped the gun on that one... other countries around the world, and even Canada, didn't do that forced switch till like a year or two after we did.
