Also, seasons 41 and 42 of Sesame Street were NOT twenty-six episodes long. Episode #4239 marked the first time an episode of Sesame was a repeat since #3960 in 2001.

The repeats would start up again with #4283 in season 42 up until the final episode of the season, #4300.

As a result, eighteen additional repeat episodes were added onto both seasons, making both forty-four episodes long rather than twenty-six.

Okay, so by that logic why allow 6-29 and 32 to have repeat episodes but give crap for 41 onward having repeats?

Maybe they wanted to do that routine for the more modern episodes. But it's still miserable why season 53 had two repeat episodes from the time before the HBO deal had come into play: #5306 (originally shown in season 45), and #5326 (originally from season 43). And on top of all that, they were tributes to two human regulars on Sesame.

I also have to say that this is about the time we get the season 54 trailer. Now's the time to make your FINAL predictions on what's to come.
