The final segment of the 1979 episode was about The Muppet Movie. How cool is that!
*I* *KNOW!*

Of this entire 10-hour marathon, the whole special and the entire decade ends on MUPPETS!

I saw '77-'79 last night, and been watchin' 'em today ('72-'73 so far), and can't wait to see the MS part!

Oh man, and Janice was "featured" alone in the foreground playin' guitar on "Crockodile Rock" while Elton was in the back! Heehee!

Don't worry!!! They'll be showing all the episodes for another two weeks or something-and they might even do an "I LOVE THE 70'S strikes back" because that's what they did-and are doing-with I LOVE THE 80'S.

That was so amazingly cool! The last last last last last thing said on I love the 70s was "The 70's was really just all about the rainbow connection". That was great.

OOh...not to mention, any The Wiz fans out there? seeing them do their little tribute to it totally made my day!

doesn't all of this make you want Janice to lose the side-pony-tail and start jamming again?

I haven't watched all the episodes but I love the little commerical for them where Kermit says "I Love the 70s has been brought to you today by the letters V, H and the Number 1". That's the best!

I also was crying laughter tears at his impression of Rocky....

Kermit talked quite alot about The Muppet Show when they showed it on 1976 and they talked about how great it was and such. Also there was his impersonation of Rocky and he was kinda goofy while he was waving a flag when they were talking about America's birthday
I got a BIG kick out of Kermit during the 1976 show!Especially when he was singing the end of "God Bless America". Kermit*panting*"Boy...it takes a lot of energy to be patriotic!"
The crack about the Shrinky Dinks & Viagra had me laughing so hard I was practically crying!!
