Mr. Pattern, thanks for the info... Actually, he sounded kind of like Will Ferrell's impersonation of Harry Carey.

I think it may have been a different puppeteer... or a different version of the voice.

As for the Squirrel nut zippers... well they're basically just regular no-descript humans. I think, including the main singer, there were five of them. I didn't really bother to look.
