I know a lot of people, including Caroll Spinney have mentioned about how the Sesame Street set moved in 1992 from Teletape to the Kaufman Studios in Queens; my question is exactly HOW did they move a huge set like that, or did they tear down the old one at Teletape and build a new one at Kaufman?

I wonder this, too. The set did start looking different around that time though. A lot cleaner and stuff, but I heard that was to compeat with Barney and things.

What does changing the set have to do with competing with Barney?

Well, Barney was beating it in Merchendise that first year it came out on PBS. And they made the set look cleaner to look a to look more like the way it did and also gave it a new part of the set to pretty soon. But it only lasted a couple of years before they made it look older again.

So that was around the time that Around the Corner came about?

Well yes, but the set started looking cleaner about a year before that.

In my humble opinion, the set looked the cleanest between the years of 1993 (around the bend) and now, because the set is starting to look just a little dirty again.

But it started looking really different during season 33.

Yeah because that's when it went under it's own little "extreme makeover".
