Wonderful idea Cherry--and just because it's been brought up before doesn't mean that it's not a great idea. I'd love to see this--Jim Henson was so much a part of Kermit that when I think of my green friend, I also think of Jim. I don't know what he'd think of this idea, because he was generally modest about things like this, but I imagine he'd be flattered at our admiration.
