of DIVXNetworks DivXNetworks, Inc., the company that created the revolutionary patent-pending DivX MPEG-4 video compression technology, today announced a commercial licensing agreement with The Jim Henson Company, an established leader in family entertainment. The Jim Henson Company has licensed the leading DivX video codec for use in a promotional campaign commemorating the 25th anniversary of The Muppet Show, the popular family program that has brought joy to generations since its television debut a quarter of a century ago. we felt it was important to choose the best possible video technology

President of Marketing Worldwide at The Jim Henson Company. Hailed as a "revolutionary product" by Tom's Hardware Guide, DivX MPEG-4 video compression technology has been downloaded over 30 million times, currently ranking as the fourth most popular application on CNET's Download.com and the most popular multimedia application.
