MuppeToon Kermambo sweeps the Web Courtesy
of the Jim Henson Company You may have heard of the Texas Two-step or the Macarena but there is a new dance craze about to sweep the nation and Kermit the Frog is leading it. Jim Henson Interactive announced today the launch of its latest MuppeToon, entitled "The Kermambo.'' With music by award-winning composer Michael Giacchino, "The Kermambo'' features Kermit the Frog in a dancing, singing, musical extravaganza. More of Mr. Giacchino's music can be heard on the new PlayStation game Muppet Monster Adventure distributed by Midway and now available at retail outlets. "The Kermambo'' can be seen on the MuppetWorld site www.muppetworld.com. "Kermit's full-body, Broadway-style dancing will elicit the same wonder felt when people first saw him riding a bicycle in 'The Muppet Movie','' said Craig Allen, General Manager of Jim Henson Interactive. "'The Kermambo' is the most ambitious MuppeToon created thus far by our team at Jim Henson Interactive. Using our own proprietary Henson Digital Performance System (HDPS), Kermit sings and dances in this musical extravaganza with multiple camera angles in a 3D environment unlike anything seen on the web.'' In "The Kermambo,'' the HDPS allows a perfect head to flipper, 3D performance of Kermit the Frog. The performance is broadcast over the Internet using Pulse 3D technologies as Kermit dances and sings the camera moves around to showcase him from all-angles in a complete performance. |
