Muppet Central honored in Salt Lake Tribune By
Quinn Rollins Muppet Central will be recognized by the Salt Lake Tribune on Sunday, January 31. The newspaper reviews many web sites during the week, and publishes their favorite four each Sunday, in a special column called "Dot Com". Kim McDaniel, an assistant editor for the Salt Lake Tribune, says he has always been a Muppet fan, and that Muppet Central is an excellent resource. Indeed, past web sites profiled in "Dot Com" have included Muppets.com and the Official Sesame Street Web Site. The Salt Lake Tribune has a Sunday readership of approximately 300,000, including residents of Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, and Arizona; an estimated 100,000 of those have Internet access. Mr. McDaniel's write-up on Muppet Central will be published on-line on Friday, January 29th, and can be accessed at www.sltrib.com under the "Features & Links" button. The newsprint version will be published on Sunday, January 31. If any of your local newspapers have a technology or Internet review section, e-mail them and tell them about Muppet Central--it's a great way to inform Muppet Fans of the number one gathering place on the net. |
