"Sesame Street" renewed for four more seasons By Phillip
Chapman PBS and Children's Television Workshop have agreed to produce Sesame Street for four more years. This deal translates that Sesame Street will be on the air at least through 2002, or its thirty-third season. One hundred and thirty episodes will be produced, and this also means that all those "Sesame Street Is Being Cancelled!" letters can't be taken seriously for a while. If you get one of those letters, please send the recipient to this news article. |
