I remember; my parents absolutely refused to buy me one and I was despondent because all the cool kids had one. Of course, grabbing just any rock off the street wasn't sufficient!

However, my son has quite the rock collection, and occasionally they take on personalities and have battles. I have to agree that the "pet rock" is a normal kid phase that somebody cashed in on.

Maybe I'll market the "pet stick." Don't know how you childproof that one, tho

came from!

Well, on the subject of "imaginary friends," some people have complained that after the adults were introduced to Snuffy it took away Big Bird's right to have imaginary friends. I guess they tried to fix that situation with Rocco, or even with Baby Bear's friend "Hewo Guy."

well he was never imaginary in the 1st place they just kept missing him and as for Zoe's rock, I'd love to see an epiosde where Elmo and Zoe are by a river and she starts being a pain about her rock, Elmo gets mad, grabs it and throws it into the water.

Not even Oscar would be that mean, much less Elmo.

LOL! You're right. Oscar wouldn't even do that.
