I have not ever shared my thoughts about the Studio DC shows since I have been on this board, so here goes.
The Studio DC shows may not have been everyone's cup of tea, but what we need to remember is that the sole propose of these shows was to introduce the Muppets to the younger generation who do not necessarily know who these characters are.
So they had the Muppet characters interact with the Disney Channel stars that the younger generation already know about.
To that end, I think that the Studio DC shows were successful and did their job well.
These shows were intended for Disney Channel's target audience.
It was all part of the Muppets Studio's overall strategy of introducing the Muppets to the younger tween crowd.
And on that note, while I may not necessarily care for some of the Disney Channel stars, if there ARE people out there who do like them, then good for them.
