A very good thing about #4077 is:

They aired a very old Ernie and Bert segment from the 1980's when Ernie and Bert build a snowman and at the end Ernie uses Bert's hat and scarf. I have not seen that in a long while!

Todays was pretty neat. I thought when Elmo keep getting mad about Rocco that it felt that how we fell when we see to much Elmo but I felt sorry for him as well but it was funny. When I saw the JTE segment I thought it would be that skit when they showed it. I was thinking "Its going to be the one where Ernie and Bert build a snowman and I was right. I hadn't seen it either in a long time. I aways loved that skit w/ :stick_out_tongue: & :frown: .

I actually saw that episode this morning, and during Elmo's World, they redid that old song "Bells", which I knew about for quite awhile. But they didn't do the whole song, and, as usual, it wasn't nearly as good as the original. :smirk:

Argh! Missed out on Episode 4078 too cause of a blackout that wiped out my house's electricity. The lights didn't come back till 11:30 AM, and by then it was too late.
Well, guess there's always the repeats. Hope to see the episodes for the rest of this week though.

My thoughts on Episode 4079.

Cons.
1 Letter of the Day: W was a repeat.
2. Number of the Day: 5 was a repeat.
3 JTE: Dance Land was a repeat, though it's got some sort of innate fun in it.
4 They used a recent Bert and Ernie segment, where Ernie's putting his toys away only to clutter them back out to find Rubber Duckie.

Pros.
1 They brought a good human element back to the sStreet with Miles's band. This is something that hasn't been seen since Savian's friends or a bunch of teens came to SS for a day back in the early 90's.
2 The sketch with Larry King and the letter W voiced by Kevin Clash.
3 This is something that'll make Drtooth love this episode, three different spoofs.
During the Street segment, we got two grouch rock bands in the form of N*Stync and Flem & M.
And then after the Number of the Day segment, the debut of Triangle Bob Trianglepants!
4 The quirky song about the number 5 sung after the Count's segment.
5 Oscar's line about how he came to watch Miles's band perform, cause they need a heckler.
Hope this helps and have a good day.

I don't remember the name, but his favorite moment was the "Pinball Number Count" animation.

DARNNIT! Of course my early class would have been during this episode.... oh well... hopefully PBS will rerun that episode tommorow (during the yesterday's rerun at 9)

Ahh... I was gonna post this yesterday, but I was soooo busy. It was only a matter of time before this was someone's favoprite moment. Jason... it was you. Not a big fan of American pie, but you clearly have good taste!

I really liked James Earl Jones's Memory.... about how he thought the kids were gonna be afraid of the Muppet characters... but he was wrong....
